Avengers : Age of Reshoots??

Image
Note that Mail Online had no source written in their article so all this could be all poppy-cock. According to Mail Online, the cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron will once again assemble in January for two weeks of reshoots in the UK. The actors asked to make themselves available apparently include Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Scarlett Johansson, and most intriguingly, Tom Hiddleston! Of course, Idris Elba (who plays Heimdall) has already confirmed that both he and Hiddleston will reprise their roles in the sequel much to the annoyance of director Joss Whedon. The site adds that the movie, "needs a bit more kick-ass on an extravagant scale." Also revealed in the report is the fact that the two-part Avengers: Infinity War will apparently shoot back to back (obviously) late next year at Pinewood in the UK, and that hopefully means we'll hear more about who will direct them and some new casting additions throughout 2015. Girder Could've Looked Like This

Image
In the episode "The Flash Is Born,"  Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) fought the steel-skinned supervillain known as 'Girder,' who was played by Greg Finley. It was a great episode and the highlight was when The Flash delivered a super-sonic punch to the face of his ex-bully. The 'Girder' resembled 'Colossus' from the X-Men films, but the meta-human could've looked much different. Concept artist, John Gallagher ("V"), has posted unused concept art he created for the character, which you can view below. Gallagher also described his thought process:"Playing around with the scrap metal found object aesthetic. The original Girder is a bit wonky looking but here was trying to bridge the original with a next gen look." Of course this could've been achieved if The CW had a huge budget for the special effects, so it would have to live on in our imagination...

I think this speaks for itself...

Nova Prime Will Not Be In "Guardians Of The Galaxy 2"

Image
Minutes after Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was confirmed, the conversation shifted toward what new characters might join the fray. It was assumed that Peter Quill’s father – the mysterious role – would be developed. And eagle-eye Marvel fans combed the backgrounds of key scenes in The Collector’s lair to look for hints of Guardians characters who might be significant in the sequel. One such hero was Nova, but James Gunn’s now putting the kibosh on a possible appearance. While promoting the DVD release of Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn admitted to MovieWeb that Nova will not be part of Guardians of the Galaxy 2, though he could be part of future installments. Gunn said...
"I don't want Nova right now because I think Quill being the only earthling is important. That serves the entire moviegoing audience and not just the handful of Nova fans. Sorry if that upsets you. … I have nothing against Nova in future movies, but it doesn't serve the movie right this moment." …

"Independence Day 2" Confirmed : Will Smith Not Included.

Image
Ever since Independence Day owned the summer box office in 1996 fans of the film have been wondering when a sequel might happen, and today, Deadline reports that 20th Century Fox has finally given the green light to Independence Day 2. The studio still has to hash out the details before director Roland Emmerich is officially onboard, but that's probably just a formality. Production on the sequel will begin in May. It'll give the film a good shot of making its pre-announced June 24, 2016 release date, which will also mark the 20th anniversary of the original film. An inside source has told Deadline that Fox only gave a green light for a single film. That may surprise some as Emmerich has previously mentioned doing a trilogy and shooting two films back-to-back. The screenplay was written by Carter Blanchard, Roland Emmerich, Dean Devlin, and screenwriter James Vanderbilt provided the final polish. Over the past few years, interest in the sequel has picked up steam as director R…

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" Trailer Will Be Online This Friday

Image
The teaser for the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” won’t just be in 30 select theaters on Black Friday — it will hit the Web, too. Disney announced on Wednesday that the teaser for J.J. Abrams’ upcoming “Star Wars” movie will debut on iTunes on Friday. The studio had previously announced that the highly anticipated 88-second tease would roll out at 30 theaters on Friday, in Regal, Cinemark and AMC venues. The movie will play in front of every movie playing at the venues over the holiday weekend. It makes sense for Disney to release the teaser online the same day as it hits theaters, avoiding a leak. Just last month, the “Avengers: Age of Ultron” trailer leaked on the web ahead of its originally planned premiere during an episode of “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be released Dec. 18, 2015.

Justice League Dark Script Complete

Image
The executives at Warner Bros. are going to be reading the script to Guillermo del Toro‘s Justice League Dark, aka Dark Universe. The director confirmed he and his team have completed the team up script, which will feature Swamp Thing, The Demon, John Constantine, Deadman, The Spectre, and others and turned it into Warner Bros. If they like it, we may be seeing the film sooner rather than later. Read more about the Justice League Dark script below. Forbes broke the news of this significant development in Justice League Dark. For several years now, del Toro’s been saying that the film had a bible of sorts, but we didn’t really hear much about a screenplay. In fact, we don’t even know who wrote it. (Del Toro has been keeping the writer’s identity a secret). The fact it’s now done and in the hands of executives is extremely encouraging. It’s especially encouraging films without screenplays, stars or directors currently have release dates at Warner Bros. I’m talking, of course, of their …

Laurel Isn't A Superhero Yet!!

Image
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim clarified a bit of confusion about Laurel Lance, set to become the Black Canary in the midseason premiere of the series this January. While some fans have objected to the idea that the character is moving too fast -- suiting up to fight crime without much in the way of training -- Guggenheim says that's actually something that will be addressed in the narrative, and showrunners aren't trying to just skip to the end. “Just because you put on a mask and a costume doesn’t mean you’re a superhero,” Guggenheim said. “A mask does not a hero make. We’re really at the beginning of Laurel’s journey to becoming the Black Canary, not the end by virtue of the fact that she’s put on a costume.”

"Arrow V Flash" Trailer Released!!

Image
The CW have released a trailer of the upcoming crossover episodes, which will have Arrow going against the Flash for some reason. The Flash will start off the crossover so here is the synopsis of the first episode : "Barry is thrilled when Oliver, Felicity and Diggle come to Central City to investigate a case involving a deadly boomerang. Excited about teaming up with his friend, Barry asks Oliver if he’d like to help him stop Ray Bivolo (guest star Patrick Sabongui), the meta-human Barry is currently tracking. Bivolo causes people to lose control of their emotions and has been using that skill to rob banks. Unfortunately, the superhero partnership doesn’t go as smoothly as Barry expected. When Oliver tells Barry he still has a lot to learn, Barry sets out to prove him wrong by attempting to stop Bivolo alone. However, when Bivolo infects Barry and sets him on a rage rampage, everyone is in danger, and the only one who can stop him is the Arrow. Meanwhile, Iris is furious when E…

Supergirl May Team Up With Team Flarrow

Image
The December 5, 2014 issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine - now hitting newsstands - features a profile on Greg Berlanti, the executive producer of many current hit shows including Arrow, Flash, and The Mysteries of Laura. It's a fascinating article about his approach to the different series, talking about his origins in the business with shows like Dawson's Creek and his one comic-based project that wasn't so much of a hit, the Green Lantern movie.
As has been mentioned before, one of Berlanti's new projects is a Supergirl TV project for CBS, which he is developing with Ali Adler and Sarah Schechter. There's a section talking about what's currently going on in production, and there's a very interesting nugget within: Later in the afternoon at his other office on the Warner Bros. lot, Berlanti meets with fellow producer Ali Adler and Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood to go over looks for their upcoming revamp of Supergirl. The show will follow…

Natalie Portman Joins Steve Jobs Biopic

Image
After switching studios from Sony to Universal and leading men from Christian Bale to Michael Fassbender, the Steve Jobs biopic continues full speed ahead as Deadline reports that Oscar-winner Natalie Portman has boarded the film. LisaJobsWhile the article makes no claims as to who the actress is playing, it would be hard to imagine it is anyone other than the Apple head honcho’s daughter, Lisa Bennan-Jobs (see pic on right of Lisa to cast away all doubt). Steve Jobs initially denied his paternity of Lisa, all the while naming one of Apple’s earliest computers–the Apple Lisa–after her. The two reconnected years later and Jobs paid for her to attend Harvard University, coincidentally around the same time that Portman called that school her alma matter. Portman recently completed her feature directorial debut A Tale of Love and Darkness and starring in the western Jane Got a Gun. She is also expected to reprise her role as Jane Foster in 2017′s Thor: Ragnarok. Based on Walter Isaacson’…

Blade Runner 2 Will Have Harrison Ford!!

Image
In an interview with Variety, Blade Runner director Ridley Scott revealed that the film’s sequel will begin filming next year, and that Harrison Ford will be a part of it. “Harrison is very much part of this one, but really it’s about finding him; he comes in in the third act,” Scott said. Scott also revealed that he would only be producing the film, and not sitting in the director’s chair. Scott developed the sequel with the original film's screenwriter, Hampton Fancher. “We talked at length about what it could be, and came up with a pretty strong three-act storyline, and it all makes sense in terms of how it relates to the first one,” says Scott. The original Blade Runner was a loose adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? The sequel will likely be a wholly original work. Scott’s next film, Exodus: Gods and Kings, opens December 13.

Who Is The Reverse Flash?? New Details Revealed!

Image
Since he was first teased in The Flash’s series premiere, The Reverse Flash’s presence has loomed as a mounting threat to the show's characters and an ongoing tease to its viewers. But both parties will finally come face to face with Professor Zoom in December 9th’s episode of The Flash: “The Man In The Yellow Suit.” Series executive producer Andrew Kriesberg teased Zoom’s impending arrival  to Entertainment Weekly, dropping several Reverse Flash Facts on what his debut will entail. For starters, The Reverse Flash himself will reveal to Barry that he murdered Norah Allen, sending the Flash’s world into a tailspin. But while the Flash and the Reverse Flash will finally confront one another the mid-season finale, Kriesberg said that Barry will come no closer to discovering his nemesis' true identity. Like Barry, Reverse Flash will vibrate his face and vocal chords so that the show’s cast--and viewership--can’t identify him. But what about series regular Eddie Thawne, the live-a…

Robbie Amell Talks Flash And His Future On The Show.

Image
Fans of "The Flash" have already seen Robbie Amell on the series in flashbacks as Ronnie Raymond, fiancee to Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and structural engineer for the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator, who was trapped in its core chamber before the explosion. Given Ronnie Raymond's comic book history, it should come as little surprise that Robbie Amell is set for a return to the show -- but he's going to look very different. While speaking with Access Hollywood, Amell said that viewers might not even recognize him at first when he reappears on "The Flash."
"I look ridiculous when you see me next," Amell told Access Hollywood. "Most people won't even recognize me for a couple seconds when you see my character return -- but you'll know it's Firestorm shortly after." The actor also noted that he will return wearing a wig and fake facial hair, and went on to discuss the involvement of Victor Garber -- who is set to play…

Sherlock Special News!!

Image
The boys are back! And they’ve dressed up for the occasion too. Yes, while we’ll all have to be frighteningly patient for the return of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson in the next special and series of Sherlock, the Beeb have taken pity on the Cumber Collective and the Free…masons? By releasing a new pic of the leads in costume. And how about those costumes? Either Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman will be going back in time for the new special, or there are some period garb adventures afoot. What larks! So far, that’s about all we know of the new one-off special, written by series co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, aside from the BBC also tweeting a picture of the special’s read-through script, which clearly belongs to Gatiss, so if anything else leaks, we know who will be getting a visit from the security squad. Still, he does play Mycroft, so if anyone knows about keeping things quiet…

Universal Pictures Picks Up Steve Jobs Biopic

Image
About a week ago, Sony Pictures suddenly dropped development of the Steve Jobs biopic, a project that didn't stick with director David Fincher or star Christian Bale (twice). But at the time the project was dropped, Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle and acclaimed actor Michael Fassbender were attached to the project. Thankfully, THR reports the two talents are still with the project which has now officially been picked up by Universal Pictures for about $30 million. Not bad for an Aaron Sorkin scripted drama about one of the most well-known innovators of our time. Stay tuned to for any updates.

Wonder Woman Has Found It's Director

Image
Michelle MacLaren has signed on to develop and direct Wonder Woman, Warner Bros’ big-screen take on the iconic DC character. MacLaren will work with the project’s writers, who remain unnamed at this stage, to lasso together a script for the movie, which would star Gal Gadot. The actress will make her debut as the heroine in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Charles Roven, Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are among those producing the Wonder Woman movie, which is set for a 2017 release. MacLaren was a top choice for the project due to her muscular work on Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead, although she is perhaps most associated with her directing and executive producing work on the much-loved Breaking Bad. MacLaren’s signing caps off a director search that began in the summer, and her deal culminates an on-and-off-again dance with the Amazonian princess. MacLaren became a favorite back in August, taking several meetings with Warners execs. Things cooled over the autumn …

Expendables 4 Will Be Full On R-Rated

Image
The Expendables series has shown diminishing returns both for fans and execs. The third movie diverted its focus away from the aging action heroes that were the driving force behind the series to begin with, and also fell vicim to pre-release piracy. (The industry is still debating the effect that leak had on the box office.) The Expendables 3 was also PG-13, and the downgraded level of intense action that followed that ratings change wasn’t viewed well by fans. Sylvester Stallone seems to get it, however, and says that the attempt to broaden the series’ appeal was “a horrible miscalculation” that will be rectified in the future. Will an R-Rated Expendables 4 be the course correct the series needs? The Expendables 3 hits blu on November 25, with an extended, unrated version on disc. Promoting that release to Crave Online, Stallone said that future films starting with a theoretical The Expendables 4 will be R-rated in theaters.
"Absolutely unequivocally yes. I believe it was a hor…

Oscar Isaac Is Apocalypse!!

Image
Twentieth Century Fox has closed a deal for Oscar Isaac to star as Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse. Isaac, stellar in Inside Llewyn Davis, will next be seen opposite Jessica Chastain in A Most Violent Year. In X-Men, he plays the most powerful mutant ever and the most menacing foe the X-Men have ever faced. Tracks back to ancient times. The main villain of the film. Considers himself a god. From the look of the comic character, Isaac’s going to have to do some benching. Bryan Singer is back as director, helming a script by Simon Kinberg from a story written by Singer, Kinberg, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris. Singer and Lauren Shuler Donner are producing with Kinberg and Hutch Parker. Emma Watts and Daria Cercek will oversee for the studio. Production begins early next year, for May 27, 2016 release.

Wait Christoph Waltz Is Playing Who?

Image
Just two weeks after initially reporting that two-time Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz would play the main antagonist in the upcoming Bond 24, The Daily Mail is back and reports that Waltz will play none other than James Bond’s nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Production is expected to begin on the sequel next month.
It was revealed over a year ago that MGM had settled with writer Kevin McClory regarding the rights to the Blofeld character and the infamous SPECTRE organization, which sparked rumors they could appear in future films, and now it appears that could be a reality. Blofeld has been heard or seen in six of the previous James Bond films and was previously played by Donald Pleasence, Telly Savalas and Charles Gray.
Set for release on November 6, 2015, the Bond 24 will see Waltz join Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Dave Bautista. Sam Mendes returns to direct the film, which is produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

Andy Serkis Talks AVENGERS : AGE OF ULTRON!!

Image
Andy Serkis' The Imaginarium works with visual effects companies on motion capture, and their upcoming projects include huge movies like Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Talking in the latest Empire Magazine, the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes star revealed that it was Ultron and The Hulk that the studio worked on in Joss Whedon's upcoming superhero sequel, and shed some light on what exactly went into bringing both characters to life. "We did some work on Ultron. On the development of Ultron before James Spader came on board. In terms of movement styles: was he gonna be human-like? was he gonna be robot-like? So we worked with a bunch of different people, from body-popping experts to dancers, to this guy called Neil who's nearly eight feet tall..." As for Mark Ruffalo, it sounds as if he'll be voicing the Green Goliath this time instead of Lou Ferrigno. "We gave Mark weights, we had voice projections so he could do his Hulk roa…

Constantine Production Halted After Episode 13

Image
Unfortunately the Hellblazer inspired tv show produced by NBC is to stop production this season after its thirteenth episode. The main reason is because of poor ratings during its current run on television right now. This would be a missed opportunity for NBC and DC/ Hellblazer as it has introduced so many characters that I have not heard of and offers something else for the DC fans other than Arrow, The Flash, or Gotham. It has introduced a new area of the DC comics that hasn't been touched since the Keanu Reeves' Constantine in a live-action medium. So to help save this show I want each and every person reading this story to tweet to NBC with the #SaveConstantine. It would be a great loss to the already awesome DC TV shows.

Gotham And Metropolis Are A No Go For Team Flarrow (Flash And Arrow)

Image
With characters like Firestorm and The Atom coming to The Flash and Arrow respectively, some fans have started to wonder whether we might get more big-name DC crossovers on the hit CW series. While they didn't slam the door on any major DC characters showing up, producers at last night's Flash Vs. Arrow fan screening (they in fact screened both The Flash episode "Flash vs. Arrow" and the Arrow episode "The Brave and the Bold") did single out Gotham City and Metropolis as being off-limits to their shared universe. “There are things we can do, and there are things we can't,” said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. “I'm a huge fan of Nightwing. But there are cities we can use, and then there's everything else. You won't be hearing Gotham or Metropolis on the show anytime soon.” So what could all this mean well it could mean that in like Season 7 of Arrow we may see either the Caped Crusader or the Man of Steel. Either way it would be awesome…

Black Canary Trilogy For Midseason January Episodes

Image
Upcoming episodes of Arrow will feature a "trilogy" about Black Canary, according to one of the series' producers.
Before last night's screening of the Arrow and The Flash crossover episodes, showrunner Andrew Kreisberg told The Hollywood Reporter that Arrow's tenth, eleventh and twelfth episodes of the season will revolve around Laurel's transformation into Black Canary.
"Laurel appears in the Arrow episode," Kreisberg said. "She's not as present in these episodes, but that is because we've been building up to her appearance as the Black Canary. We sort of said that Sara was the Canary, but Laurel is the Black Canary. Episodes 10, 11 and 12 are a three-part trilogy that are about her. And episode 13 I think I can spoil, is called 'Canaries.' For fans of Laurel and for fans of Katie [Cassidy], they're going to get more than their fill after the winter break."
The episode titled "Canaries" is likely going to b…

EDITORIAL: Who Killed Sara Lance?

Image
The mystery that has puzzled the fandom ever since it began in episode 1 of season 3, who killed Sara Lance? Well today I decide to compile a very short but expansive list of potential murderers.
So here we go...
#1) The number one on my list is of course Ra's Al Ghul. Now you maybe wondering why I choose him, well I did because he is being set up as the big bad for this season which would probably entail being a main or even the single component of Sara's murder. Plus at the end of episode three he seemed quite unhappy that Sara was ever a member of the League of Assassins calling her something on lines of a degenerative part of the League. All this could all be his reasons why he would want Sara dead in the first place. BUT there is also the fact of him breaking his daughter's heart by killing her more or less girlfriend, which is not the smartest thing to do in the first place.

#2) In a surprising twist I decide to have Tommy Merlyn as my number two as one of my potent…

A Huge Tragedy In Sherlock Season 4

Image
Fans still have a while to wait before the return of “Sherlock” — with a special episode slated to begin filming in January and season four expected to shoot later in the year — but that hasn’t hindered the rampant speculation about what we might see when Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman finally reunite on the small screen. In a recent interview with Britain’s Radio Times, “Sherlock” co-creator (and the actor behind the detective’s enigmatic brother Mycroft) Mark Gatiss teased, “you can always expect tragedy as well as adventure” when the critically acclaimed show returns. Could that relate to John Watson’s new bride, Mary (Amanda Abbington), the former assassin who lured John away from 221b Baker Street in season three? As Freeman pointed out in a June interview with the UK’s Telegraph, “While we play fast and loose with the original stories, we generally follow the trajectory of what Conan Doyle did. So [Watson] gets married, and then Mary dies — so at some point presumably …

THE FLASH: Synopsis For "The Man in the Yellow Suit" Reveals Who ISN'T 'Reverse-Flash'

Matt Smith And Natalie Dormer Will Team Up For "Patient Zero"

Image
Since ending his run on “Doctor Who” last year, Matt Smith has been spending quite a lot of time with the undead. He’s playing Mr. Collins in director Burr Steers’ upcoming twisted Jane Austen adaptation, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and now, according to a story at Deadline, he’s preparing to battle the living dead once again. This time, Smith will star opposite Natalie Dormer in Screen Gem’s upcoming zombie thriller Patient Zero. Scripted by Mike Le and set to be directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky (who helmed the Academy Award-winning The Counterfeiters), Patient Zero takes place in a post-outbreak zombie apocalypse and follows the adventures of one man who has the unique ability to speak with the undead and who hopes to use his gift to discover a cure for the plague and his infected wife. Even outside these two zombie projects, Smith has not strayed far from genre tales. He’s headlining Ryan Gosling’s dark fantasy feature Lost River opposite Eva Mendes, Saoirse Ronan and Christina H…

Luke Cage And Jessica Jones Casting Shortlist

Image
There's a casting shortlist for Jessica Jones and Luke Cage for the upcoming Marvel Netflix TV series. Details here... We're still six months away from the premiere of Daredevil, but casting is underway for the next two Marvel Netflix series, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. There are some names emerging for both roles. Expect both to be cast around the same time, as Luke Cage will play a supporting role on the Jessica Jones series before launching his own. Right now, Marvel are looking at Kryten Ritter, Alexandra Daddario, Teresa Palmer, and Jessice De Gouw for the role of Jessica Jones, "a superhero suffering with post-traumatic stress disorder, which leads to her hanging up her costume and opening her own detective agency, where she ends up helping people and assisting other superheroes." I'm not playing favorites, but both Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad) and Jessica De Gouw (The Blacklist) would certainly nail the attitude required for Jessica Jones. As for Luke C…

"Prometheus 2" To Introduce New Extraterrestrial To The "Alien" World

Image
The Prometheus sequel will reportedly debut an entirely new extraterrestrial to the world of Alien. Bloody Disgusting unearthed an interview between Ridley Scott and The Australian, where the Alien Godfather teased an entirely new species of alien in his eventual Prometheus sequel. “The alien’s real which is why it’s probably one of the scariest monsters in film history,” Scott told the news site. “So with Prometheus 2, what I’m trying to do is reintroduce a fresher form of alien in the third act.” Scott also mentioned that he is staying away from any species used in past Aliens films, going so far as to say, “If I see one more dragon I’m going to shoot myself. Stop the dragons.” The use of God and Satan, another popular rumor surrounding the sequel, was also refuted by Scott. A release date for Prometheus 2 has not been set, though it  is rumored to land in theaters sometime in 2016. Scott said that the script is finished, describing it as “really good.”

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D | Alien Species Revealed |

Image
Spoiler warning for a future Marvel's Agents of SHIELD reveal, though this information is being offered up by one of the show's executive producers, Jeffrey Bell. Not that many of us didn't already suspect this particular Agents of SHIELD swerve, especially after Guardians of the Galaxy heavily featured this particular Marvel Comics race, but it's now been revealed that the blue alien on the ABC TV series -- whose blood helped Agent Coulson and numerous others return from the dead -- is Kree. TVGuide.com has learned that this morsel will be revealed on the December 2nd episode, "...Ye Who Enter Here." Bell tells the website:
"Our people [S.H.I.E.L.D.] don't know anything about the Kree or that there's a planet full of them. What they do know is that the strange carvings created by Coulson after he was injected with the Kree serum are actually the map of a city, and they need to find that city before Hydra does. But where is it? Here or on another…

Harley Quinn And Prenatal Robin May Feature In "Gotham"

Image
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Gotham showrunner Bruno Heller has confirmed that there are currently no plans to introduce Harley Quinn in the series, but did promise a “prenatal” Robin story at some point. “We’re going to do a prenatal origin story for Robin down the line,” Heller says. “There are no MRIs involved. There’s an episode coming up where we learn how Robin’s parents got together.” If Gotham takes place when Bruce Wayne is still child, it makes sense that Batman’s eventual teenage sidekick hasn’t even been conceived yet. As for Harley Quinn, who seemed to be being teased at Gotham’s New York Comic Con panel, Heller says the rumors were likely the result of a simple discussions about which characters should be used this season. “One of the things about the size and scope and ambitious of this production is that — it’s not that there’s lots of chefs in the kitchen, but there’s a lot of people with opinions and views and inside knowledge,” Heller says. “That aspect of the…

Black Canary And Arsenal Team Up

Image
Another look at Arrow’s Black Canary has surfaced online, but it’s a little more candid than the one fans were treated to last week. The new image comes through Felicity Smoak’s—or actor Emily Bett’s—Instagram account. In-between filming scenes for this season of Arrow, Bett snapped a photo of Arsenal actor Colton Hayes and Laurel Lance actor Katie Cassidy enjoying some downtime. Cassidy’s Laurel Lance character, while dressed as Black Canary in the photo, has not officially donned the vigilante identity that her sister Sara carried in Arrow’s second season and third season premiere. It’s most likely that viewers won’t see Lance don the mask and leather jacket until Arrow’s mid-season finale, or the second half of season three in 2015. The CW debuted the first official look at Laurel as Black Canary last week. Arrow’s latest episode, “Draw Back Your Bow,” airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Chris Pratt Will Become Cowboy Ninja Viking

Image
Collider reports Christ Pratt is attached to headline Universal's Cowboy Ninja Viking, based on the graphic novel of the same name by A.J. Lieberman and Riley Rossmo. As the title might have tipped you, the premise of this adventure would be following a covert government assassin (Pratt) who possesses the battle skills of a cowboy, a ninja, and a Viking. Because why not? The nitty gritty of the comic Cowboy Ninja Viking is that its hero Duncan suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder, and so was specially selected by the government to turn this issue into an advantage. He and agents like him are encouraged to develop these personalities. All the better to become the ultimate agent, right? According to Collider, the latest draft of the Cowboy Ninja Viking script actually has Duncan physically transforming into his alter egos. Well, in his own mind anyway. To the public, he'd still look like Chris Pratt. This approach--of Duncan transforming into different physical versions…
