Chris Hemsworth Talks "Thor: Ragnarok"

Chris Hemsworth has promised that Thor: Ragnarok will be a "big" continuation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Speaking to Digital Spy, the Blackhat star said that screenwriters Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost are yet to deliver a script for the sequel. When Digital Spy asked if certain events in this summer's Avengers: Age of Ultron will have an impact on the God of Thunder's return in Ragnarok, the Aussie actor reassured... they will. "Yeah, definitely... they have to, don't they?" he asked, laughing. "No [I can't give away any hints], but I will say there is no script for the next Thor. So, I have no idea where we're going to end up, but it's pretty big... this one."

Ragnarok, which can be translated as "Fate of the Gods" or "Twilight of the Gods", is a North myth that tells of the universe's destruction and the death of gods.

Thor: Ragnarok will open in cinemas on July 28, 2017 with Hemsworth returning…

25 Things Revealed About "Avengers: Age of Ultron"!!

Digital Spy visited the set of Joss Whedon's sequel last summer, and spoke to the man himself along with Mark 'Hulk' Ruffalo, Chris 'Thor' Hemsworth, and new recruits Aaron 'Quicksilver' Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth 'Scarlet Witch' Olsen.

Below are 25 of the key things DigitalSpy learned from their day on set.

1. The Science Bros are causing trouble. "Banner's been living in Stark Tower, and [he and Tony] have been working side by side," Mark Ruffalo shares. "Banner has his own lab now, he's doing work that augments Tony's work, that could lead to a horrible experiment going wrong…"

2. Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye will have a lot more to do this time out. "We got to do some interesting stuff with Hawkeye which is a different kind of dark," Whedon teases. "It's been fun for Jeremy because he was possessed for so long last time – it's interesting to not be a zombie!"

3. We won't see the A…

Simon Kinberg Talks X-MEN/FANTASTIC FOUR Crossover, 'Moira MacTaggert' In X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, And More!

Writer Simon Kinberg was recently in an interview with Entertainment Weekly and talks about the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, and more!
The first trailer for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four was released earlier this week, and it's fair to say that fans were shocked by just how good the movie looks! Tonally, it's more Interstellar than Avengers, and it's that sci-fi vibe which writer Simon Kinberg is really excited for fans to see. "Part of what’s cool about the Fantastic Four comics is that there’s an emphasis on the science of science fiction," Kinberg tells EW. "And we treat what would normally be considered a superpower as a trauma. They don’t just go up a roof, jump off, and start swinging through the city. It’s the opposite. What would happen if your body transformed, and you didn’t have control over it?"

There's been a lot of talk in the past about a crossover between the X-Men franchise and this rebooted Fantastic Four movie, and while it…

Jason Momoa Talks More On Portraying AQUAMAN, Diversity, And Being In JUSTICE LEAGUE

Given that, for almost a year, Jason Momoa had to dance around countless questions surrounding his cameo as Aquaman in the highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it's always a pleasure to now hear the actor talk passionately about portraying the DC character; even he's saying the same thing over and over again.

Therefore, his recent interview with The Daily Beast is no exception as Momoa reiterates why he's excited for the Aquaman role which will span at least four years. “It’s awesome as an actor to know what your future is going to be because I have children and I’ve busted my ass to put food on the table,” he said. “It’s awesome knowing that I’m going to be in Justice League because my son is the biggest Batman fan and my daughter loves Wonder Woman. It’ll be cool for them to see me in something because they’re not going to be watching Game of Thrones or Red Road anytime soon, but now they can see Daddy kicking ass in IMAX.” On bringing diversity to sup…

New Look At Arnold Schwarzenegger As The Aged T-800 In TERMINATOR: GENISYS

He's back but now with grey hair! Arnold Schwarzenegger has tweeted out a new pic of the aged and grizzled T-800.
The beginning of Terminator: Genisys, the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Divergent‘s Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, Sarah (Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like he expected.

I’m pumped to be back as @Terminator. Get ready for a big day.

CBS' upcoming Supergirl series has found its James Olsen in True Blood's Mehcad Brooks.

EW has the news, and stresses that Supergirl's Olsen will be a different take on the character from the one we know from the comics (aka 'Jimmy' Olsen). He may be a potential love interest for Kara, played by Melissa Benoist.

Brooks is best known for his role as  Benedict 'Eggs' Talley in True Blood, although you may also recognize him episodes of Desperate Housewives and Necessary Roughness.

The official description for the new Supergirl series reads: “Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-El escaped amid its destruction years ago. Joss Whedon Clarifies "Misogyny" Comments In Superhero Movies

Last summer, Digital Spy interviewed Joss Whedon on the set of The Avengers sequel. They didn't post the interview until a few days ago. In it, Whedon blames the lack of female-led superhero movies on "sexism" and "quiet misogyny." His comments stuck a nerve in the internet and they quickly went viral. With all of that attention being paid to comment he made many months ago, Whedon decided to clarify those comments. “I just thought, I sounded very harsh,” Whedon told Buzzfeed via a phone interview. "And then [Marvel announced], ‘We’re going to make Captain Marvel. We’re going to make Black Panther. We’re going to shake it up.’ I was just like, great! Now I just sound mean and bitter. But, you know, there’s a lot to be mean and bitter about.”

Whedon has been a champion of female empowerment in the entertainment industry, but would he be interested in directing Marvel's Captain Marvel? "Um, I would never rule anything out, because I like working he…

"The way I look at it, Captain America [The Winter Soldier] was a spin-off of Avengers, but it was so much better than Avengers," said Anthony Mackie during an interview with Detroit's WXYZ news. "With the new Avengers [Age of Ultron] coming out, the trailer that came out, it's gonna be 10 times better than Avengers. So, [Captain America: Civil War] is gonna be so much better than Avengers 2. It can't be Avengers 2.5, it's like Avengers 3.8. It's so far past where Avengers is gonna be this summer. Just having read [Civil War script], and seen the specs of what they're gonna do, it's unlike anything you've ever seen." When asked about appearing in Age of Ultron, given rumors suggest The Falcon is joining the new roster, Mackie said he's yet to get the call. "I hope so, they're still shooting," he replied. "They're still adding pieces so I'm definitely waiting for the call, Marvel, to be added in any way,…

Universal Pictures is in early talks with David Leitch and Chad Stahelski to co-direct its action pic “Cowboy Ninja Viking,” starring Chris Pratt.

With Pratt in such high demand, t…

Terry Crews Wants To Play The Silver Surfer

Terry Crews of Brooklyn Nine-Nine has publicly voiced his desires to a play a superhero in the past. Those desire have specifically been directed at the role of Luke Cage, which was recently given to Michael Colter in the upcoming Netflix series A.K.A. Jessica Jones.

Crews is taking it well though. In an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit, Crews said he was happy to see Colter take on Cage, and that he was still interested in playing a superhero, but perhaps one of a more cosmic nature.

Again... it's hard to pick a favorite super-hero. I always did love Luke Cage, and I'm really, really happy about who they cast in the Netflix version of Luke Cage. So that's something that's already done. But you know who else I'd like to play? The Silver Surfer. I always LOVED - I thought I had the build, the body, I could get on that surfboard, and if they ever do a live-action version of Silver Surfer, I think that would be perfect for me.

The Surfer did appear on screen in Fanta…

Paul Bettany Teases Future Plans For 'The Vision' After Avengers 2

During a recent interview for his role in Mortdecai, Paul Bettany talked a bit about playing the Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and implied that he knows what's next for the android character. "That's the really great thing about the Marvel gig for me," said the English actor of signing the studio's mandatory multi-picture contract. "I have never known if I have had a job six months out ever in my life. And now I know that they have plans and I can be even more judicious about the stuff that I do outside of that work. I can wait for the right thing and feel really attached to it." Bettany then revealed that he hadn't seen any of the past Marvel Cinematic Universe movies prior to knowing he'd be playing the Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron. "I did a lot of research — and my research was watching all of the films," he said, laughing. "I realised they are so interlinked and I wanted to understand the universe I was in. So I did…

Captain America: Civil War Writer Teases Avengers: Age of Ultron Connection

You may remember during last year's "Marvel Event" that a scene was shown featuring Steve Rogers and Tony Stark sharing a fairly tense exchange, something which later seemed like an obvious Captain America: Civil War prelude. In a lengthy interview with Collider, co-writer Stephen McFeely revealed whether or not it was an intentional set up of what's to come in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! "I’m glad they put that in there, but I don’t even know the relationship between when we decided to Civil War and when that scene was put in, so it could just be good tension,a  good scene, but it’s a clean set up. It’s a good intro." You have to imagine that Joss Whedon had some sort of inkling of plans for Civil War, but it's more obvious now than ever before that Avengers: Age of Ultron will be serving as a fairly direct lead in to Captain America: Civil War regardless. Could Ultron be responsible for sparking the battle between Cap and Iron Man?

Ryan Reynolds Speaks On Finally Making Deadpool

When Josh Horowitz of MTV News caught up with Ryan Reynolds at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend, the reporter couldn't wait to question the actor about the long-awaited Deadpool, which will be the first comic book movie released early next year. "Yeah, it's been a long time, you know, and it's happening the right way," said Reynolds. "That's all that matters. We don't have the kind of money that most superhero movies do, but that's great. Necessity is the mother of invention, and that's why we get to make the movie we want to make." In light of the critical and box office flop that was Green Lantern, Ryan was then asked he feels any pressure about the 2016 Fox/Marvel standalone film. "No, no, no, of course not," Reynolds replied. "You gotta have faith in the people you're working with, and have faith in the prep, and that's all I'm doing. On this one, the prep's been 11 years. You'd like to …

New Ant-Man Scene Description Teases Cheeky Dialogue And 'Scott Lang' Vs. 'Hope Van Dyne'

Beyond the exclusive look at Avengers: Age of Ultron, the latest issue of Empire magazine also features tidbits on Marvel's second "Phase Two" outing this year, Ant-Man. The article highlights a visit to the set in Atlanta, Georgia, last year when journalists had witnessed filming of a scene in which Evangeline Lilly essentially shows Paul Rudd who's boss. Read the scene description below:

This morning's Ant-Man scene takes place in the basement gym of Hank Pym-or, in Rudd's words, "the Pymnasium"- where Empire is about to witness a class training montage. Fake sunlight is streaming through the windows. Then a fist socks Rudd in the face, and he goes down hard. "Ooh... Aaah... It hurts..." he moans into the mat. His opponent is Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), who follows her finishing move by dancing around her flattered foe. As the camera keeps rolling, Rudd attempts to get up, his knee squeaking against the mat ... that sounds a lot l…

Charlie Cox Talks About Suiting Up As DAREDEVIL In Marvel And Netflix Series

Comic book fans are constantly complaining about big and small screen adaptations not being faithful to the source material, so it's hard to criticise the upcoming Daredevil TV series for using Matt Murdock's first costume from Frank Millar and John Romita Jr.'s The Man Without Fear. Still, it's hard to not want to see him don the classic red suit at some point (or even the yellow one...).

E! Online failed to ask star Charlie Cox (The Theory of Everything) about that, but did quiz the actor on what it's been like to suit up as Daredevil so far. "It's pretty tight, I'm not going to lie," he told the site. "They've done such a great job. I can't wait for fans to really see it. But put it this way, there is no world where you change in a phone box. It takes four people and about 45 minutes." Luckily, he doesn't have to go through too much difficulty when it comes to taking a toilet break, something Christian Bale famously compl…

Jason Momoa Says Aquaman Won't Have Blonde Hair

At the Sundance Film Festival, Jason Momoa was answering questions during the Smart Works panel. There were a couple questions about playing Aquaman in the DC Comics cinematic universe.

Momoa was asked, what can fans of the comic book expect from his version. "Well, things are going to be a little different," Momoa responded. "When I first went in I met with Zack (Snyder). His idea is pretty amazing. When I went in, he told me ... my jaw kind of dropped. My jaw doesn't normally drop. What he has planned for the DC world and for ... definitely for Aquaman is something that, you know... I think I was brought on for a certain reason and they got some really cool plans for him. I'm really excited for everyone to see it."

Momoa then tells how difficult it was to keep the casting news quiet. He had known he landed the role of Aquaman over a year ago. "Last year, when I was on this panel I was like eating chicken breasts and in training when I wasn't sup…

Margot Robbie On What Kind Of Accent She'll Use For 'Harley Quinn'

Superhero Hype caught up with Margot Robbie at the Sundance Film Festival to talk Suicide Squad, and while the actress once again couldn't say too much about playing Harley Quinn, she did drop a few interesting details about her take on the villain. Robbie's role in The Wolf of Wall Street helped put her on the map, with many fans suggesting her for Harley at the time due to her sultry and sexy performance. The question is, how much of that will she bring to Suicide Squad?

"None of those things have been set in stone at this point, but according to the comics, she’s from New York and I think Brooklyn, so there may be a slight… I couldn’t imagine it would be as strong as the Wolf of Wall Street accent," she told the site. "The lingo will be the difference between that and the other character I played in ‘Wolf’ but I don’t know yet. We haven’t spoken about it."

Katie Cassidy On Legacy Heroes, Training At 5 a.m. And Olicity Shippers

The lovely people of got the chance to have a chat with Arrow's Katie Cassidy. In the following interview Cassidy talks about the series, her years of waiting for a chance in the mask and just how she handles online fans and critics in a show that's got such a passionate base.

You've seemed really excited about your character and your story in recent interviews. Do you feel like you're about to enter a really good status quo for Laurel?

Yeah! I mean, look: As an actor, I remember when I met with Greg and Marc and Andrew about this show before we shot the pilot that this is where this character was going to go. That was definitely a huge thing for me. I wanted to do action, I wanted to stay with Warner Bros. and CW and I loved the fact that this character had this journey that she would go on but I didn't necessarily know how long it would take or what the journey would look like.

I don't think they did, either; they just knew eventually at some po…

Elizabeth Olsen And Aaron Taylor-Johnson Talk Quicksilver And Scarlet Witch For Avengers 2

We have gotten a lot of new information on the Maximoff twins for Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron.

We don't know a lot about Avengers: Age of Ultron's Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, but based on what we've been able to piece together so far, they start off in Baron von Strucker's custody before working with Ultron and ultimately The Avengers. Talking in the latest issue of Empire Magazine, star Aaron Taylor-Johnson shed some light on what to expect from Pietro in the movie. "He's very agitated because everything runs too slowly for him. He's quick at everything. He's quick to lose his temper." As for how he'll interact with the Scarlet Witch, Johnson added: "It's more about Pietro and Wanda together, a yin/yang where he's very physical and very protective of her and she's very internal and always mothering him. Pietro doesn't [frick]ing trust anybody. The only one he cares for and at the end of the day will jump in f…

Disney Eyeing Chris Pratt For Indiana Jones Revival

Disney are apparently looking for Chris Pratt for an Indiana Jones reboot. Pratt jumped to leading-man movie status with his performance in last year’s blockbuster Guardians Of The Galaxy for Marvel and Disney. He starts The Magnificent Seven with Denzel Washington and director Antoine Fuqua in April for MGM and Sony, and there’s the inevitable Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel. Disney won’t comment and all this is admittedly early, so let’s chalk it up as a dishy informed rumor for now and keep an eye on it.

‘Supernatural’ Taps ‘Big Eyes’ Actress for Age-Defying Guest Role

The CW’s “Supernatural” has cast “Big Eyes” actress Madeleine Arthur in a suitably surreal guest role, Variety has learned exclusively.

Arthur will play the teenage version of a woman named Tina, who finds herself trapped in an very dangerous situation with a now 14-year-old Dean Winchester (guest star Dylan Everett) in the Feb. 3 episode of the cult hit’s 10th season.

Titled “About a Boy,” the episode sees Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigating a case in which people are disappearing into thin air with only their clothes left behind. The Winchesters suspect fairies or angels, but the truth turns out to be much more shocking — Hansel (guest star Mark Acheson), from Hansel and Gretel lore, is kidnapping people and turning them into their younger selves to placate the evil witch (“Downton Abbey’s” Lesley Nicol). Unfortunately, Dean finds this information out the hard way after he becomes Hansel’s next victim and reverts to his 14-year-old self.

Arthur played Jane,…
