THE FANTASTIC FOUR: Employee Leaks Info: "It's A Genuinely Good Movie"

The Fantastic Four doesn't come out for seven months and it seems like the longer it takes for Fox to finally release footage, the more leaks will come. Hit the jump for what is possibly the film's logo and details on Doom, the Thing and more! Beware of possible spoilers!

A user who calls himself "MrBlueFox" went on to Reddit (whose posts have been erased completely but thankfully were recorded by an IMDb user) introduces himself by revealing he is "an employee at 20th Century Fox" who specializes in film editing. His job mainly consists of helping to create rough cuts for movies before he returns them for finalizing. A few months ago, he "was contacted to work on the 2nd rough cut" for The Fantastic Four.
He says the film manages to stay true to the characters despite raceswapping Johnny and "the original love story between two of the characters". Could he be alluding to Reed possibly not being romantically involved with Sue this time around and instead Susan will be with Ben like in the Ultimate Comics?

Saying the film "feels like Chronicle 2", he expresses his frustration for how Fox has so far shown zero marketing - claiming his company "has no reason to be secretive - seriously". Going on to Victor Domashev, the film's reimagining of the Fantastic Four's archenemy Doctor Doom, he reiterates that this version of Victor will be an internet blogger and programmer "who works for Dr. Storm" at the Baxter Institute - the new name for the Baxter Building which serves as a government-sponsored think tank that brings Reed, Ben, Sue and Johnny together in the Ultimate series. And after gainging his powers, he'll become closer to his classic personality in the Earth-616 comics. But close to the end of the film, he says Victor will tell the Four "he can do "good" with his powers and help his homeland". Notice the air quotes on "good". "There are many hints towards him becoming ruler of Latveria" he says, setting-up the character's role for future sequels. Could that be a potential plot for The Fantastic Four 2?

Doom's look will require "some CG enhancements" but it's "more or less the same" as the leaked set pictures from a year ago suggested. Talking about the Thing, his CGI remains unfinished "given that it's a rough cut" but "design-wise, he looks fine" and "Very Thing-like" - not unlike another leaked picture that featured a prop for the Thing. Another one of his claims is that the Negative Zone, or the N-Zone which is the parallel universe responsible for mutating the Ultimate Fantastic Four, is receiving a new name as well - a name he calls "Dimension N". Estimating there is around "30 minutes" of Dimension N action in the movie - he says fans can expect to see the alternate dimension around the first half of the second act and climaxing during the final battle. Overall he does mention the film "isn't a complete trainwreck" - "it's a genuienly good movie". Which is fine because I never hated this movie anyway.

And perhaps to prove his credibility as an employee who is working on the film, he posted a screenshot of the logo for The Fantastic Four that appears during the end credits on Imgur "for the fans". It's a cellphone pic so he was unable to provide a proper computer screenshot considering he was at work when he snapped the pic and his computers are traced at work so he probably didn't want to lose his job.
THE FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

The Fantastic Four return from an alternate universe on August 7, 2015 in 3D.
