X-MEN APOCALYPSE: No Patrick Stewart And Ian McKellen!

In an interview with Larry King, Patrick Stewart ("Star Trek: The Next Generation") delivered some sad news. When asked if he was going to be in the next X-Men film, Stewart replied, "No. Nor Sir Ian McKellen, either." Wow, not only is Stewart's Professor Charles Xavier not going to be in it, but McKellen's master of magnetism Erik Lehnsherr, aka Magneto, won't appear either. That's a bummer, man.

"I was learning quite a lot more about it last night, and it is going to be looking very much at the earlier lives of all our characters," Stewart added. "And so I don’t think we’ll be making an appearance."

This actually makes a lot of sense due to the fact that Apocalypse will be heavily set in the 80's so we wouldn't see the older versions of Magneto or Xavier. Although we will see a younger Storm, Jean Grey, and Cyclops. Plus a balding James McAvoy is a likely scenario!
