First Official Look At Dave Bautista As 'Mr Hinx' & Lea Seydoux As 'Dr. Swann' For SPECTRE

"When I came over to meet Sam [Mendes], I only asked two questions," says Bautista in Empire's in-depth feature on the film. "I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, 'Yes, he's a badass.' I said, 'Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?' He said, 'Very.' That's what I like about Mr. Hinx. He's very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I'm not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humour. He definitely knows what a metaphor is." Just as Hinx doesn't sound like your average Bond henchman, it seems the mysterious Dr. Madeline Swann won't be just another "Bond Girl". "I don't consider myself a Bond girl," says Lea Seydoux. "I think I'm not really the stereotyped Bond girl. I feel quite different. You can't be like, 'Oh, James.' You have to find something else. She's not a fighter, she's a doctor," she adds. "She fights in another way." Be sure to…

Greg Berlanti Confirms ARROW/THE FLASH Spinoff

In addition to Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Riverdale in 2015, producer Greg Berlanti has confirmed reports that a new superhero team-up series is headed to the small screen under his watch.

Reports emerged last night that Firestorm, The Atom and other Arrowverse characters would team-up onscreen for an as-yet-untitled spinoff series that Berlanti has hashtagged Superhero Team-Up:

Yes, we're creating a spinoff from #Arrow and #TheFlash and couldn't be more excited by the cast signing on. More to come. #SuperheroTeamUp— Greg Berlanti (@GBerlanti) February 27, 2015
That's likely not the final name; Marvel and DC co-own the trademark on the phrase "superhero," but it still sounds like a generic enough name that it would be difficult to imagine it standing out on a schedule.

The series will reportedly star Brandon Routh, Victor Garber and Caity Lotz, who played Sara Lance/Canary on Arrow. It will also reportedly feature three superheroes who have never been on TV …

Josh Hutcherson Talks Possible SPIDER-MAN Role

Now just three weeks later after the news broke out of good ole Spider-Man swinging into the MCU, many have wondered who would play the web-slinger. In many conversations there was two candiates Dylan O'Brien and Logan Lerman. But now Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson has chimed in. "Yeah, of course I'd think about doing it," Hucherson told Yahoo! last week. "It's Spider-Man, that'd be really cool. There's not been any conversations about that, but who knows what would happen." While previously in contention, the 22-year-old had admitted that even though he wasn't much of a comic book reader, he did grow up watching Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies. And beyond expressing interest in countless other interviews, Hutcherson went all out for his Amazing Spider-Man audition tape, which was released online and can be seen below. Therefore, it's no huge surprise that he's still open to the big commitment. However, there are only two acto…

Margot Robbie Talks SUICIDE SQUAD Casting, And More!

Talking to MTV News recently, Margot Robbie was asked how she ended up landing the role of Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. As it turns out, she didn't have to audition, and it makes you wonder whether Warner Bros. took note of the massive fan support that the actress has had for this role ever since The Wolf of Wall Street was released. "I actually got offered this one, I didn’t audition, which is a real step up as an actor when you can get offered things," she said before revealing that her and Will Smith "didn’t have to do chemistry reads or anything like that, and then I already knew, vaguely knew Jared Leto, who’s playing the Joker." While Robbie wasn't willing to give away any plot details, she did have this to say about the kind of tone that David Ayer is aiming for: "I think on a scale of like, ‘Dark Knight’ is here and ‘Avengers’ is here, I think it’s more on the ‘Dark Knight’ side of things."

John Ottman To Return As X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Composer

X-Men: Apocalypse next year will be composed by John Ottman, composer of  X-Men 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past, as it has been confirmed by Film Music Reporter that he has officially signed up to return for the movie. Some fans preferred Henry Jackman's take on the mutant characters in X-Men: First Class, but Ottman's work in last year's "inbetweenquel" was still great.

For those of you needing a reminder, this one will star Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Rose Byrne, and franchise newcomers Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, and Ben Hardy. Bryan Singer will direct and Simon Kinberg is writing. X-Men: Apocalypse is set to be released on May 27th, 2016.

Miles Teller Talks Mr. Fantatsic's Powers In FANTASTIC FOUR

Empire Magazine caught up with Miles Teller to talk about what to expect from his take on Reed Richards, and it definitely sounds like he'll be as smart as his comic book counterpart! "It was good talking with our advisors on set, whether it's the quantum physics stuff or biomechanics," he says. "I always want to know enough about the stuff before I say it. But I'm on layman's terms with the science. I'm a layman's Reed Richards!" Don't take that too literally folks! As for how fans should expect to see Mister Fantastic's powers portrayed in this version, it does sound like it will be a little less cartoonish than the previous movies and the comics. "If he's this gummy guy slinging around, it looks ridiculous," the actor claimed before adding: "What does that feel like for a young guy, to have no control over his body?"

Viola Davis Talks SUICIDE SQUAD

Now that there is confirmation Viola Davis will be portraying Amanda Waller in David Ayer's Suicide Squad adaptation and beyond, the two-time Oscar-nominated actress was recently asked what appealed to her about the project. "As a comic book and Wonder Woman fan, I love the whole DC Comics universe," she told The Hollywood Reporter yesterday. "I traded comics as a kid so all of that appeals to me. When you dream about being an actor as a kid, that's what you dream about. It's like play acting: being the superhero, getting the gun; it plays into that fantasy. How to Get Away with Murder changed my exposure. I don't know if it changed the quality of roles as much as it the exposure. I mean certainly Amanda Waller is a fabulous character."

Directed David Ayer from his screenplay, Suicide Squad stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jared Leto (the Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), with Cara Delevingne (En…

Jason Momoa Talks AQUAMAN Poster Reveal, BATMAN V SUPERMAN Action, And More

Entertainment Weekly recently caught up with Aquaman himself - Jason Momoa - the site quizzed the actor on that and his role in the DC Cinematic Universe as the King of the Seven Seas. There are lots of very interesting details in the highlights below, so check them out.

On His Reaction To The "Unite The Seven" Aquaman Poster Reveal:

That was a shocker for sure. It was supposed to be a surprise in 2016, so it definitely helps [our show]. I’ve been holding that secret for a long time. Zack Snyder called me up and said, “I’m posting this picture now.” He’s just a genius and I love him to death. He sent it over and we’re in the middle of the editing suite for the thing I’m doing right now, and we all freaked out, man. It was so amazing to see it come out.

On Whether He's Shot Any Action Scenes For Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:

No, we haven’t done too much on the action yet. You know, Justice League is still quite a ways away. But I’m looking forward to it. Henry’s a…

Helen Slater & Dean Cain Cast In SUPERGIRL

TV Line report that both Helen Slater and Dean Cain have been added to the cast of the CBS' Supergirl pilot in roles that shall remain a mystery. Both actors previously popped up in the CW's Smallville, where Slater played Clark/Kal-El’s Kryptonian mom Lara, and Cain appeared as the Dr. Curtis Knox). There's a good chance they'll both be playing established DC characters again, but for now we can only speculate about that.

So far the cast of Supergirl also includes Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Chyler Leigh as Kara’s foster sister Alex, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, and of course Melissa Benoist as the titular superheroine.

Joss Whedon Talks Spoilery Details About AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON's Climax

There's a lot of pressure on Avengers: Age of Ultron to succeed. It being a commercial success is a given, but can it top the $1.5 billion haul of 2012's The Avengers? For that matter, will it acheive the same sort of critical acclaim? Either way, it's going to be a lot bigger! "Avengers: Age of Ultron got larger than the first film," Whedon explains in an interview with Yahoo! Movies. "I didn’t mean for it to get larger, but the climax that I pitched was completely unhinged and nobody said no, so that’s that. The biggest thing for me [in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’] is to go deeper with the characters." Asked about how he would describe the super sized sequel, Whedon added: "To me, adventure film is the best way to put it. Then science fiction, action, western, war, woman’s picture, horror movie … I’m not kidding; every single one of those things is in there."

Asked about just how literally fans should take that Comic-Con poster (a piece of wh…

Here is some of the new details on the upcoming Marvel and Netflix made DAREDEVIL, from his connection to the MCU, to how bloody it will be. Here is all that and more down below.

Featured in the latest issue of Empire magazine are eight new stills from Marvel's Daredevil Netflix series, and they've all found a way online via Tumblr. Featuring Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) in and out of costume, as well as post-battle alongside Claire Temple aka Night Nurse (Rosario Dawson), and pre-battle with Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), the images also offer a familiar look at Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), the Kingpin.

When and where in the Marvel Cinematic Universe does Daredevil take place? We still don't have a specific date and time (before or after the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. in The Winter Soldier for example), but Marvel Television's Emma Fleischer did at least confirm in an intervi…

Harrison Ford Confirmed for BLADE RUNNER 2

Harrison Ford is officially returning as Rick Deckard in the sequel to Alcon Entertainment’s Blade Runner with Academy Award nominated director Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Enemy) in talks to direct. Last we heard about the film Ridley Scott, who directed the original 1982 film and will produce the sequel, confirmed earlier reports that Ford was interested in the script and said the film would shoot this year. He was half right, with the production now set to begin in the summer of 2016.

Hampton Fancher, who co-wrote the original, and Michael Green (Green Lantern) wrote the original screenplay based on an idea by Fancher and Ridely Scott. The film will take place several decades after the original, and according to Scott the film will feature Ford in a small but critical role with his character appearing in the third act of the film.

State Johnson and Alcon co-founder/co-CEO Andrew Kosove commented on Ford’s return:

We are honored that Harrison is joining us on this journey with Denis…

Chris Hemsworth Talks AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Last June, when Avengers: Age of Ultron was filming outside London, Collider got to visit the set with a few other reporters. While most of what they saw and learned is still under embargo, Marvel/Disney has started letting Collider and more post some of their on-set interviews.

Here are some of the things discussed in their interview:

Can you talk a little about your reaction when you first got the script?

CHRIS HEMSWORTH: It was awesome.  I mean, coming off of Thor 2 and Avengers, you know, I couldn’t wait to read this.  I just loved how it upped it in a way that wasn’t just bigger and flashier.  I mean, everything had been amplified, but in an intelligent way.  All the stories are relevant to what’s going on in the world, as far as the exponential growth of technology and artificial intelligence and the questions of good versus bad and the AI world. They’re obviously heavily influenced by that tone and that debate. He’s managed to bring all of the Avengers back in and give them a re…

SUPERGIRL Casts 'Cyborg Superman' And 'Alex Danvers'

Two more major casting additions have been made to Supergirl, with Homeland's Davide Harewood set to play Hank Henshaw and Grey's Anatomy alum Chyler Leigh cast as Alexandra "Alex" Danvers. This version of the character better known to comic book fans as Cyborg Superman is a one-time CIA agent who now runs the Department of Extra-Normal Operations (DEO), which tracks extraterrestrial threats on Earth. Alex meanwhile is the confident foster sister of Kara. Fascinated by Kara's powers from a young age, Alex developed a lifelong obsession with science that inspired her to become a doctor. Even more exciting than this is the fact that Arrow and The Flash's Andrew Kreisberg has joined Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler as a writer and executive producer. Supergirl focuses on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Melissa Benoist will play Kara, who after arriving on Earth was taken in by a foste…

CW In Early Stages Of Developing An ARROW/FLASH Superhero Team-Up Spinoff Series

Deadline is reporting that the CW is in the early stages of developing an additional Arrow/Flash spin-off series with Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Marc Guggenheim at the helm. The potential series would put the focus on several fan-favorite characters already established in the Arrow/Flash universe including headliners Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, Wentworth Miller, and Caity Lotz.

While details about the project remain scarce, Routh, Garber and Miller are all set to reprise their current roles, and while he isn't mentioned in the report, it would probably be safe to assume the other half of Firestorm, Robbie Amell, will also be involved in some capacity. Lotz's role is the only one that remains a bit of a mystery as her Sara is currently six feet under. Could this mean Sara is a little less dead than Arrow wants us to believe? Or will she be playing a new character?

Additionally, the new project is going to feature three major DC characters who have never appeared in…

FANTASTIC FOUR: Details On 'The Thing''s "Transformation Cocoon", Race Change, And New Stills

The Fantastic Four reboot has split opinions (even though it's still months away from being released), with some fans excited to see Chronicle director Josh Trank's new take on the property and others wishing Marvel had the rights back already. When Empire Magazine caught up with the filmmaker recently, he had this to say about how his version of Marvel's First Family will differ to both the last attempt and other unnamed recent releases. "The original two films to me are very similar to a lot of recent movies that have come out, in terms of that kind of cartoonish. It's just not something that me and Simon are interested in as storytellers." In fact, anyone expecting an action packed movie along the lines of The Avengers might be disappointed with Fantastic Four, as Trank has a very different interpretation of their adventures it seems. "There's the opportunity to make something that is challenging and tragic and dramatic," he said. "The …
