Marc Guggenheim Talks ATOM And How He Will Be Like

As the first full appearance of The Atom nears on The CW's Arrow, series executive producer Marc Guggenheim has done what seems like dozens of interviews this week talking about what makes the A.T.O.M. suit tick and what to expect from DC's not-so-pint-sized superhero.

Now, we've got a sense for just how good (or not) he'll be at the job...

"He’s definitely a sloppy superhero in the sense of all of our characters don’t immediately have the easiest time fighting crime,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly. “I would say episode 19 really digs underneath what does it mean for Ray to be a hero. Is he a hero because of who he is? Or is he a hero because of the suit that he’s made?”

We'll find out soon enough. Arrow airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
