New Combo Promo For CW's THE FLASH And iZOMBIE

The CW have released a trailer promoting the return of The Flash but also the premiere of iZombie.
Now note that doesn't mean that these are connected in anyway. BUT check out the trailer down below!

LIAM MCINTYRE GUEST STARS AS THE WEATHER WIZARD;  CISCO REALIZES DR.WELLS IS HIDING SOMETHING — Mark Mardon aka The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) appears in Central City intent on avenging his brother Clyde’s death, and sets his sightson Joe (Jesse L. Martin), who shot Clyde.  When Mardon attacks Joe and Barry (Grant Gustin), Barry is able to super-speed them to safety but Mardon gets away.  Barry warns Joe not to go after ameta-human alone but Joe doesn’t listen and ends up in grave danger.  Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) looks into the night the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn’t addup and begins to wonder whether Joe was right about Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh).  Barry and Linda(guest star  Malese Jow) end up on an awkward double date with Eddie (Rick Cosnett) and Iris (Candice Patton).  Thor Freudenthal directed the episode written by Todd Helbing & Aaron Helbing (#115).

A NEW SERIES FROM THE BRAINS BEHIND “VERONICA MARS” – Olivia “Liv” Moore (Rose McIver, “Masters of Sex,” “Once Upon a Time”) was a disciplined, over-achieving medical resident who had her life path completely mapped out… until she is turned into a zombie. Now stuck somewhere between half-alive and undead, Liv loses her drive and ambition. She breaks off her engagement with charming soul mate Major (Robert Buckley, “One Tree Hill”), fearful of infecting him with her condition. Liv transfers her medical residency to the city morgue in order to access the only form of sustenance left available to her – the only thing that allows her to maintain her humanity – brains. There are side effects to Liv’s new diet: With each brain Liv consumes, she experiences “visions” – flashes of the corpse’s memories – which often provide clues as to how they were killed. Her boss, the brilliant but eccentric Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli), encourages her to embrace this gift and to work with unproven homicide detective, Clive Babineaux, (Malcolm Goodwin, “True Blood”), to help solve these murders. In doing so, Liv finds a measure of peace, and a new sense of purpose in what her “life” has now become. David Anders also stars. Rob Thomas directed the episode written by Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright (#101).

The Flash airs on Tuesday, March 17 at 8 PM ET The CW.

iZombie will air its series premiere on Tuesday, March 17 at 9 PM ET The CW.
