SUPERGIRL Pilot Officially Wrapped


Glen Winter ("The Flash"), the director of the pilot episode of CBS' Supergirl, tweeted that the filming has officially wrapped.


The pilot was written by the show's executive producers Greg Berlanti (also a creator/producer for Arrow and The Flash) and Ali Adler.

The cast includes Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El / Kara Danvers, Mehcad Brooks as James "Jimmy" Olsen, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra "Alex" Danvers, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow "Winn" Schott, Faran Tahir as The Commander and Owain Yeoman as Vartox. Helen Slater and Dean Cain will also appear, but their roles have not be disclosed yet.

Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-El escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she’s been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and become the hero she was destined to be.
