X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST's Rogue Cut Adds 11 Minutes

The new cut restores the Rogue-centric action sequence that was cut from the film’s theatrical relese in order to keep the story more focused. The scene is said to involve Magneto (Ian McKellen) and Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) mounting a rescue mission to free Rogue (Anna Paquin) from the Sentinel-controlled mutant prison camps. Paquin was eventually only seen in the closing scene of the movie, alongside some other surprises from 20th Century Fox's original trilogy.

The total running time of the film - including the unseen footage - is 142 minutes, 37 seconds.

The British Board of Film Classification has given the new version of the film a 12 certificate, but a date has yet to be confirmed for the DVD and Blu-ray release.

The Rogue Extended Cut of X-Men: Days of Future Past is expected to be released in the summer of 2015.
