ARROW Adds Villains & Allies For Fourth Season

Jeri Ryan is coming to The CW's "Arrow," Access Hollywood has revealed. The "Star Trek: Voyager" alum will guest star in the second episode of Season 4.

Jeri will play Jessica Danforth in the episode, a friend of the Queen family. Her political ambitions will place her in the crosshairs of a menacing antagonist, Access has learned. Jeri recently appeared on Syfy's "Helix" and TNT's "Major Crimes."

THR reports that British actor Jimmy Akingbola has nabbed a recurring role of DC Comics villain Baron Reiter — well known as Baron Blitzkrieg — on Arrow's fourth season.

Akingbola will recur on the series as Baron Reiter, an adversary for Oliver, and appear in the show's prominent flashback scenes. In the comics, the character is the leader of the nefarious group Shadowspire.

The fictional crime group Shadowspire first made their appearance in Deathstroke No. 53 and supplied South American drug cartels with weapons, transportation, technology and intelligence. The Baron's other operatives in the group included Steelhawk, Kodrescu, Mourn I and Mourn II.

The role marks Akingbola's second stateside part, following an episode of History's Sons of Liberty. The actor is best known for roles on Holby City, Holby Blue and, more recently, Rev.

“Teen Wolf” actor JR Bourne will appear on Season 4 of The CW’s “Arrow,” playing the DC comic book villain known as Double Down, TheWrap has learned.

Bourne is taking on the role of Jeremy Tell, a metahuman who can turn his playing card tattoos into deadly weapons. As a metahuman, Double Down is more closely associated with “The Flash” mythology in the comics, and is a member of the villainous Rogues gallery. He will appear in the third episode of the new season.

The CW’s “Arrow” has cast “Falling Skies” alum Ryan Robbins in a recurring role for season four, Variety has learned exclusively.

Robbins will play Conklin, a sadistic and ruthless member of Shadowspire who will be an adversary for Oliver (Stephen Amell) in the flashback sequences. The show’s flashback arc will also see the titular hero take on Jimmy Akingbola’s Baron Reiter (aka Baron Blitzkrieg in DC Comics Canon), who is the leader of Shadowspire.

Robbins will make his first appearance in episode three of season four. The actor is one of several new additions for the superhero show’s fourth year; he’ll join Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt (aka the heroic Mr. Terrific), Neal McDonough as villain Damien Darhk and “Star Trek: Voyager” favorite Jeri Ryan as Jessica Danforth, a friend of the Queen family with political ambitions.

In addition to “Falling Skies,” Robbins has appeared on shows including “The Killing,” “Hell on Wheels” and “Ascension.” On the big screen, the Canadian actor recently filmed “The Shack,” and John Travolta’s “Life on the Line,” and will next be seen in Legendary’s “Warcraft” and “Spectral.”

“Arrow” season four premieres Wednesday, October 7 at 8 p.m. on The CW.

Season 4 of "Arrow," which stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Arrow, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, Paul Blackthorne as Quentin Lance and John Barrowman as Malcolm Merlyn (the new Ra's al Ghul), is currently in production in Vancouver.
