A Man Of Steel Sequel Is In The Makings

TheWrap's Umberto Gonzalez is reporting that the folks over at Warner Bros. / DC Films are prioritising a Man of Steel sequel, and that it is near the top of their list they are also but emphasis to make the character right for audiences.

Henry Cavill's Superman has made appearances in the first Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and will be appearing in 2017's Justice League film.

Warner Bros. had no comment on the matter and have not established a date for the film. Although they did make dates for two DC Films' ventures, unknown still, for Oct. 5, 2018 and Nov. 1, 2019, so one of them could be the Man of Steel sequel.

Wonder Woman is slated for release on June 2, 2017; followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; an untitled DC Film on October 5, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; an untitled DC film on November 1, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020. The Flash, Harley Quinn spinoff, a Man of Steel sequel, and a Batman solo movie are currently without release dates.
