DC's Legends of Tomorrow Gains Sarah Grey As Stargirl

DC's Legends of Tomorrow has added actress Sarah Grey to their already big roster of actors. She will be playing the character of Stargirl, who you may know is a member of Justice Society of America.

Stargirl's alter ego is Courtney Whitmore, who, as Stargirl, wields Starman's cosmic staff and wears the Cosmic Converter Belt, which offers her enhanced agility and strength among other abilities.

Stargirl will be joined by Hourman, who's played by Patrick J. Adams, who appeared in the show's season 1 finale. The two will be joined by others, Dr. Mid-Nite and Obsidian, who have both yet to be cast.

This casting news follows others as well, Matthew MacCaull was recently announced to be playing Commander Steel in the Justice Society of America as well in the upcoming season, also announced was that Maisie Richardson-Sellers will be the new Vixen, Amaya Jiwe, who will also be part of the team.

It was recently announced that the Legends and Co. will be facing the Legion of Doom who will be the season's villains. The show's iteration of the legion features John Barrowman as Malcolm Merlyn, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk, and Matt Letscher as Reverse Flash.

Legends of Tomorrow returns to The CW on October 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT
