Will Beall Offers New Info About Aquaman; Setting, Script, And Others

Will Beall, scribe to DC Films' Aquaman, was at the 2016's Television Critics Association party for CBS/CW/Showtime, where he had a run in with Fred Topel of /Film. Beal was asked about the setting of Aquaman, where the script is at, and the goings on of the film.

Setting of the film:
“I can tell you that not all of the action takes place underwater,” Beall said. “Some of the most fun action in the movie actually takes place on dry land.”

Where is he with the script:
“Nope, I am still working on it with James [Wan] and Geoff [Johns],” Beall explaining that the script for the film isn't done yet.

Whether the folks filming Justice League know of everything being done:
“No, no, they know what’s happening,” Beall said. “Everybody knows what’s happening so it’s not that. It’s working out what’s going to make the best movie.”

Jason Momoa plays the titular role, Arthur Curry, he will be joined by Amber Heard as Mera, and Willem Dafoe as Vulko. Aquaman is set for a July 27th, 2018 date directed by James Wan.

Wonder Woman is slated for release on June 2, 2017; followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; an untitled DC Film on October 5, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; an untitled DC film on November 1, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020.
