Jeffrey Dean Morgan 'Would Love' To Play Flashpoint Thomas Wayne

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Thomas Wayne of the DCEU, has come out to say that he would be greatly interested in playing the Flashpoint version of his character, if DC Films needed him to.

"Maybe when he cast me that was kind of the goal," Jeffrey theorised on why Zack cast him. "Hopefully DC can figure this all out, and in a few years I can come back and do a Flashpoint Batman! I would love it. That would be great."

"I have not had any big discussions with him about [Flashpoint], but I remember when we were in Australia doing Watchmen press, and I was having dinner with Zack or whatever. And he was like, 'My dream is to do the Frank Miller Batman.' And he goes, 'You would be an awesome Batman.' The darker version."

So for those who don't know what any of this means, Thomas Wayne, instead of dyeing that oh so damning of nights stayed alive and had to deal with the death of Bruce, this much like Bruce sent him down the path of vigilantism but one could say even darker than Bruce. Me personally, if DC Films, were doing a storyline like the "Flashpoint" one I'd be down for JDM replaying or rather reinventing his short lived appearance in Batman v Superman.
