Kevin Feige Talks Phase Three Origin Stories; 'Captain Marvel' Will Be One

Marvel's Captain Marvel is on the horizon for Marvel Studios and fans alike, but that hasn't stopped Kevin Feige, Head of Marvel Studios, to talk briefly about the film.

"[Black] Panther is not really an origin story, since we saw him already in Civil War. But his standalone certainly introduces you to 99% of his world that you never saw," Feige explained to CinemaBlend about some of the origin stories in Marvel's Phase three. "And Captain Marvel is certainly an origin. It’s an origin story from the start."

Marvel's Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Air Force One pilot, Carol Danvers, the film is written by Guardians of the Galaxy's Nicole Perlman and Inside Out's Meg LeFauve. It will release March 8, 2019.
