Warner Brothers Creates Writers' Room For 'Sherlock Holmes Three'

Well Sherlock Holmes fans of the film kind listen up. Some news has popped up in regards to the untitled Sherlock Holmes Three film.

According to sources at Variety, they say Warner Bros., Village Roadshow and Team Downey have established a writers’ room that includes Guardians of the Galaxy's Nicole Perlman, Baywatch writer Justin Malen, Rogue One scribe Gary Whitta, Tomb Raider Geneva Dworet-Robertson and Snowden screenwriter Kieran Fitzgerald to plot out the third film.

Now a writers' room of this size for such a singular film is an odd one, most tend to work on multiple films. But this could be a good thing and not a case of "too many cooks," or in this case "writers".

The first two features of the franchise have garnered over $1 billion in box office revenue, so a third one was more or less a given and has been a priority for the studio. However given that Downey is playing superhero for Marvel Studios, finding the right time to film has been tricky.

Susan Downey, Dan Lin, Joel Silver and Lionel Wigram are set to produce the third film.
