'Deadpool 2' Will Not Film Soon

Even though it has lost a few creative people, those being director Tim Miller and composer Junkie XL - see below tweet, it seems the Deadpool franchise is moving forward.

According to a recent schedule for filming of features in Vancouver and British Columbia, Deadpool 2 is set to film in January of next year. This is quite shocking as mentioned above the film has no director, so having a shoot date with no director announced is peculiar. Hopefully this means that they do have a director possibly David Leitch.

On the topic of no director it was recently announced that Junkie XL will not return for his composing duties for the sequel, due to the departure of Tim Miller. On a personal note I am saddened by this, I loved the score of the film and was excited to hear what the sequel's score would be like. But with this news I am simply dispirited.

The sequel will have Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with the Mouth and producer. It will also be written by writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick who both wrote the first film.

Collider has stepped and are reporting that the sequel is not filming in January despite the scheduling posting from WhatsFilming.

The January timing would've been the original date had Miller not dropped out of the project.
