Ezra Miller Talks Filming The Flash's Moments In 'Justice League'

Ezra Miller is out promoting Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and sure enough he was asked about DC Films' Justice League and his character of Barry Allen aka The Flash.

Speaking to Kevin McCarthy, Ezra was asked about how are they filming his scenes and whether or not he runs for them.

"Sometimes they make me run," Ezra said. "Which I was outraged because I thought you know playing The Flash this will be great you can't see him running so this is going to easy. They were like 'no Ezra we need you to run'. We have this enormous treadmill I think it's called a 'Tumblelater' 25 feet long goes up to 40 miles per hour and it's bouncy like a trampoline. Pretty much a dream come true, and they strap me in a harness. We do all sorts of stuff."

Ezra further explained what they are doing with his scenes with, "what we're creating is a vocabulary. It's a vocabulary were choreography meets visual effects and what we're trying to implement is a wide diversity of tactics of how we create these moments and I don't want to give away too much. But there's a lot of The Flash is his perception.

"So there's how fast you're moving, it's like you know the moment when someone's eating and they're talking and being kind of rude and spit. You see the single crumb come out in slow motion like your brain almost is speeding up so it's slowing down the spit. So that's a lot of what we are thinking about and dealing with."

He ended by saying how he gets to geek out so much while filming, "we constantly get to have the geekiest conversations about physics. You know we get to be like 'wait he'd be so sweaty because he's running so much but wait he wouldn't be sweaty at all because all the sweat would evaporate the second it formed'."

The Flash will star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
