John Cleese Could Join DC Films Or Is Just A Fan Of Snyder And Affleck

John Cleese, for those who don't know is a renowned British actor who made his name well known when he was a member of Monty Python - a group of British comedians who made satirical films and TV shows. He has also starred in many Bond films too, now it seems that he might add a DC film or two to his résumé.

Cleese is either a fan of Zack Snyder and Ben Affleck, could be appearing in a future DC film, or both. He recently followed Snyder and Affleck on Twitter and has caused a bit of a frenzy among DC fans, many of which are speculating that he has joined DC Films. What is also interesting about this is that the UK account of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and still photographer for DC Films, Clay Enos, both follow Cleese, all the more creating a theory that the Monty Python star is set to be in a film for DC.

Now while this all could be that Clay is just a fan of Cleese, the UK account following British stars - the account has followed even more actors like Michael Caine, and as said above Cleese could just be a fan of both Affleck and Snyder, it does however mirror another moment that has happened before. The once-attached director of The Flash, Rick Famuyiwa was followed by Geoff Johns -  President and CCO of DC Comics and co-head of DC Films, and Rick followed back along with a bunch of other DC related accounts like Affleck and Snyder, so with that it wouldn't be insane to think that Cleese is joining the DC Films family.

With all that it is best to wait for something official to be released, hopefully soon so to not drive fans, like myself, crazy!

Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder and stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf, and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West.

Justice League hits theatres November 17, 2017.
