'John Wick' Director, David Leitch Will Direct 'Deadpool 2'

Deadpool 2 has found its director in John Wick's David Leitch. 20th Century Fox confirmed the news with Deadline that a decision of who will be directing the sequel to this year's Deadpool has been made.

Leitch is well know for being a stunt coordinator and a second unit director for many films that include Captain America: Civil War, V for Vendetta, The Wolverine, and many others but moved up to a directing position recently with John Wick and his upcoming project The Coldest City.

Leitch is a prime candidate for Deadpool 2 and will more than likely deliver a solid film and with Ryan Reynolds reportedly wanting to stay with what we saw in the first film - R-Rated with a lower than usual budget for a superhero film approach - things will more than likely fall into place quite nicely.

Deadpool 2 will be written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and will be produced by Reynolds who will also reprise his role as the Merc with the Mouth.
