UDPATE: Rupert Gregson-Williams Revealed To Be 'Wonder Woman' Composer

While not being announced via the recent trailer it has now been confirmed that Rupert Gregson-Williams will indeed score DC Films' Wonder Woman.

In a recent interview with The Playlist, Gregson-Williams revealed his composing duties saying, "I am working on Warner Bros. and DC Comics’ “Wonder Woman,” which looks amazing!"

Gregson-Williams past film scores include The Legend of Tarazan, Veep, Hacksaw Ridge, Winter's Tale, and many others. For me this is a surprising choice however an interesting one at the same time. On a different note I wonder if he had any conversations with Tina Guo, the cellist, who made most of the Is She With You? track of the Batman v Superman score.

It appears that I was right about Rupert and Tina having conversations with one another but also it appears that the two begin composing next week! See the embedded post below from Tina's official Facebook page.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg.
