'Aquaman' Stunt Choreography To Be Done By 'Mad Max: Fury Road' Team

With the production of DC Films' Aquaman starting soon, one can only imagine that the finer details are being taken care of, like stunt choreography and it looks like they are indeed working on that.

Thanks to 9News, we now know that behind the curtains, stunt teams are working on perfecting their craft for the superhero film. Stunt coordinator, Keir Beck, who recently worked on Mad Max: Fury Road, will be working on the James Wan-directed film. “General stunt skills, fighting, if there is water sequences obviously being capable and competent in water,” Beck told 9News.

Also this wouldn't be the first time someone who worked on Mad Max: Fury Road worked for DC Films, Guy Norris was the supervising stunt-coordinator for Suicide Squad and had the same role for Fury Road.

Now with the stunts being prepared one can assume that they have a lot of the cast signed on to play their roles, as stunt teams would need to pick stunt-people to double as the actors for more dangerous seque…

'Wonder Woman' Still Shows Diana Prince Battling In No Man's Land

Next year will see the character of Wonder Woman grace the big-screen in its first live-action film, which will have Gal Gadot play the main role with Patty Jenkins directing the film. Now thanks to Empire we have another look at the warrior princess in action, in what can only be No Man's Land.

"What motivates her is philosophical," Jenkins explaining what's Diana Prince's drive to help people. "She isn't just taking out bad guys or fighting crime. She believes in goodness and love. [She] is fierce and willing to fight, but only to protect a better vision for mankind. Hers is really a coming-of-age story."

"My approach was to focus on telling the story of mechanised war and how that would look to a god visiting our world for the first time," Jenkins said. "[I wanted the audience to understand the horrors that a war on this scale makes possible and how shocking that would be to someone who comes with a strong sense of honour and justi…

The Rock And Henry Cavill Drink Like Gentlemen And Tease DC Future As Well

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock and Henry Cavill have a few things in common, two are having the same manager, Dany Garcia, and both are contracted to play DC characters for DC Films/ Warner Bros. Another thing they have in common is appreciating a gentleman's drink and during the weekend both posted on their respective Instagram accounts of them drinking but also teasing the future.

Dwayne is expected to play Black Adam, a DC villain, in the future and Henry is Superman for the DC Extended Universe and now they have planted the idea of the two characters crossing paths soon. On both of their Instagram posts had them both saying, "We're excited for what the future brings," coupled with hashtags for their respective characters. One can only assume that they are plotting together to make some DC noise.

A possible thing that they are working together is to have Black Adam show up in the sequel to Man of Steel and be a villain for the Kryptonian son. Another potentiality i…

Ridley Scott is bringing his Aliens to the plate of films on offer in 2017 with Alien: Covenant. It will see the return of one Prometheus star, Michael Fassbender, as an android while also bringing in new people into the franchise.

Check out the red band trailer for the film. Be warned it is a bloody one.

'Flashpoint' May Not Have Solved Who Connor Hawke Is In 'DC's Legends Of Tomorrow'

If you are a fan of the DC shows on The CW, well you would know that thanks to Barry Allen and his mischievous ways, a son was born replacing a daughter for the Arrow character of John Diggle.

Now some fans have gone to speculate that Diggle's now son, John Jr. will grow up to take on the mantle of the Green Arrow with the new name of Connor Hawke as seen in the future-set episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow which was in the show's first season. But that may not be the case due to what Doctor Who fans, like myself, would refer to as wibbily wobbly timey wimey stuff - basically dealing with time travel rules.

“We go back and forth on that,” the show's executive producer, Marc Guggenheim explained. “That was certainly a notion of ours. It’s hard for me to honestly answer the question without committing to a version of time travel, because in order for that to be the case, then Flashpoint would’ve had to have happened. You start to get into the very, very complicated time…

'Supergirl' Creative Team Commited To Maintain Alex And Maggie's Relationship

During the second season of Supergirl it was revealed that one of its main characters, Alex Danvers, came out to being gay and since then began to create a relationship with the tough as nails police officer of Maggie Sawyer. That relationship became a more intimate one as time went on and it seems that despite it having ups and downs will be a consistent item of the show.

“The important thing is that we’re committed to this relationship and we’re committed to seeing it grow, change, blossom, and struggle, but also get stronger, deeper and more loving as we go forward,” executive producer of the show, Andrew Kreisberg explained. “I don’t think people need to worry that suddenly this relationship is going to go by the wayside. It’s going to have it’s ups and downs, but we’re committed to Alex and Maggie — we’re as committed to Alex and Maggie as the audience is.”

Supergirl returns with new episodes on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 8/7c on The CW.

Daisy Johnson Becoming Director In 'Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.' A Possibility

Daisy Johnson is a character we first saw in the very first episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and since then we have seen her not only evolve literally, becoming an Inhuman, but we have also seen her evolve into a strong character, though with some personal demons.

Recently on an episode of the series, it was noted that she was in line to become director of S.H.I.E.L.D. had things gone a different route other than her becoming distant and, for a lack of a better phrase, take up a more vigilante role.

But now with the character on the route of working with the agency she could still become director. “We’ve hinted at it a bit, that Coulson thinks she can play more of a leadership role,” said the one of the show's executive producers, Jed Whedon. “We’ll see how it goes, and where the story takes her. She’s been through a lot so that usually turns someone from a rookie into a seasoned veteran, which is what you need to lead. We’ll see if she steps up to the plate.”

First Look At Edgar Wright's 'Baby Driver' Released

Edgar Wright is bringing his magic to 2017 in Baby Driver. It will be a different film for Wright but is sure to be a smashing one. The film will revolve around a getaway driver, who will be played by Ansel Elgort, and has a passion for music. But there is a bit of a twist involved, Elgort’s character suffers from tinnitus and the movie’s heartbeat will be based off of the music the character listens to not have to deal with the noise coming from his ears.

“I always wanted to do an action movie that was powered by music,” Wright said. “It’s something that’s very much a part of my previous films and I thought of this idea of how to take that a stage further by having a character who listens to music the entire time. So, you have this young getaway driver who has to soundtrack his entire existence, particularly the bank robberies and fast getaways that come afterwards.”

Elgort's character listens to a multitude of different types of music in the film, but we will have to wait for wh…

Diana Prince Takes Action In New 'Wonder Woman' Still

Another day another still from an upcoming DC film, this time for Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly we have another photo from the superheroine film.

What is going on in the photo one might ask. Well in this scene Diana Prince, Wonder Woman, is going against her mother, Queen of Themyscira, Hippolyta, and breaks into the armoury of the all-female island; to then take what is seen above a sword, the god killer as it is referred by, before heading off to Europe to fight alongside man.

“This is her moment,” says director Patty Jenkins. “She’s heard all the terrible things about man’s land. But she’s also heard that mankind is in need and under duress. This is her great moment to make the decision to be the one to try and save them.”

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict ra…

Producer Charles Roven On DC Films And Its Future

Producer Charles Roven was recently interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter, and in the interview he talked about his affiliation with DC Films, he is future involvement, and more on what to expect from DC films.
It has been recently talked about how Roven may not be staying on with DC driven properties at least not to the capacity he was originally attached for. "The studio made me the producer of all the DC movies, and they announced eight," Roven explained. "When we finished the [timetable], we looked at each other and said, "This is incredibly ambitious, but we haven't taken into consideration if something goes wrong." We also hadn't decided where we were going to shoot those movies. As difficult as it was for me to commute from Toronto to London to Italy, it became really clear I couldn't do the job that I do as a producer [with Aquaman likely to shoot in Australia]. I'm for sure producing the sequels of the movies that I have made."

'OurMine' Hacker Group Targeted Marvel And Netflix

Today, the 21st of December 2016, the somewhat notorious hacker group of OurMine had a bit of a field day targeting two main sources of entertainment. The group hacked the Twitter accounts of Netlflix USA and Marvel Entertainment.

To give a bit of backstory, OurMine are known for being more grey-hat hackers than the more devious black-hat ones, serving as a testing team for account security and not trolling the victims of an attack. They tend to simply provide the knowledge of what an account owner should do on Twitter to prevent unauthorised usage.

As said above today they went for the accounts pertaining to Netflix and Marvel, with Marvel taking the greater hit. From the below screencaps of various tweets made by the accounts, all read with "Hey, it's OurMine, Don't worry we are just testing your security, contact us to help you with your security" or visit the group's site to boost security.

The attack on Marvel's end also we…

New Scene Description For 'Justice League' Still Released

Earlier today we got another look at Zack Snyder's upcoming film, Justice League, which can be seen above, and now we have a scene description of what will happen in that moment.

Spoiler warning as the description could give certain things away.....

ComicBook's Brandon Davis was one of the few reporters who where on set while the film was being made and knows a few things about what is happening in the above still.

After getting word from Commissioner Gordon of a parademon attack, the League sets off in the Night-Crawler, a small vehicle built for taking hits and transporting a few members of the League, to a Gotham ventilation tower. They arrive to it, which is close to Stryker's Island, but with some trouble in their way luckily the Crawler is built to attack pesky parademons.

On arriving at their destination, a ventilation shaft, they are again attacked by a swarm of those parademons but the League members prevail, with one scene taking place on a broken bridge outsid…

New Still From 'Justice League'; Snyder And Miller Talk A Bit About The League Members

Well folks we have been given another look at DC Films' Justice League thanks to Entertainment Weekly. And from what you can see above it has the trio that comprises of The Flash, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Not only did we get this photo we also got a few comments from two people who worked on the film, those being Zack Snyder, the director of the film, and Ezra Miller, who plays the Scarlet Speedster.

“I’m super happy with the chemistry of my league of justice doers,” says director Zack Snyder who is still working on the post-production side of the film.

Now while on set wise the chemistry was there, on screen it might not be the case at least not until they become one happy family, due to some characters not being comfortable working with each other.

Miller gave a brief evaluation of certain Justice League members from what can only be from Barry Allen's point of view. “Uncle Fish Curry [Aquaman] is very grumpy," Miller said. "Dad [Batman] gets grumpy too. (He’s h…

'Thor: Ragnarok' To Feature Sakaar; Will Be Inspired By Jack Kirby's Work

Thor: Ragnarok will be Marvel Studios' final film coming out next year and will see the Asgardian God tackling a few issues at hand.

The film will also answer why Thor wasn't in Civil War.

Well thanks to some info from Total Film we now have a clearly picture as to why he wasn't in the film. For starters his father, Odin, has gone missing - for which Thor will get help from Doctor Strange to find him - and then for seconds a threat of realm-ending proportions has come to the forefront thanks to Hela, Asgardian goddess of death, who will be played by Cate Blanchett.

But that is not all we will see. "I was talking with the guys at Marvel, even before Taika [Waititi] came on. It was about: 'How can we show something of this world that people haven't seen?'" Chris Hemsworth, Thor, told the magazine.

The answer was of course a change of scenery in this case it was to go to Sakaar. "Sakaar was just an insane, far-off, futuristic place which was the big…

'Wonder Woman' Stills Put Diana Front And Center; Gal Talks U.N. Backlash And More

Wonder Woman stills have been released and with them came an interview with Gal Gadot, who is playing the title role, and comments from the film's director, Patty Jenkins. Gadot talked about many things, most notably the backlash that occurred when the United Nations appointed Wonder Woman as an the Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls.

The U.N. has appointed many people in many different roles over the years some including Winnie the Pooh and the red bird from the Angry Birds game but with them appointing Wonder Woman as the Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls caused a stir among certain people as they felt that the female hero's looks shouldn't be honoured. Since those people petitioned for the denouncement of Wonder Woman as her role, the U.N. decided to that very thing and take away Diana Prince's title.

Now Gal Gadot, who plays the superheroine, has responded to all of this commotion. “There are so many horrible things…

Ben Affleck Promises Jeremy Irons Will Be Busy In 'The Batman'

Expect a more busier Alfred Pennyworth in Ben Affleck's The Batman at least busier than what he will be doing in Zack Snyder's Justice League. Alfred, who is played by Jeremy Irons, will be featured in the superhero team-up film in some capacity but will of course be a crucial part as Bruce Wayne's guardian and butler.

Irons recently talked about his character and how Affleck promised much more from him in the Caped Crusader's solo film. "I have spoken to Ben. In Justice League, we have seven superheroes, and that means Alfred's not that busy in the movie," Irons said. "I said to Ben, 'I hope I'm busier in yours.' And he said to me, 'You will be.' He knows my proclivities."

Earlier in another interview Irons again mentioned that Affleck promises more Alfred. "[Ben] promises me there’s going to be a bit more of Alfred in that," Irons explained. "In the “Justice League” we have seven major lead characters and I…

The Possible Line-Up For DC Films' Slate After 2017

With this year proving to be a trying time for DC Films with what they received from critics and some fans regarding their films, Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, many would grow anxious of what the future may hold for this franchise. But if certain cards are played right we could be seeing the dawn of a beneficial and reward-filled time for not only the studio but also fans.

Coming out next year in regards to the DC Extended Universe are the films of Wonder Woman and Justice League, both are more or less finished a part from a few months here and there for post-production and some additional photography. And with both receiving some retooling and rewriting both seem to be in top form come their respective release dates. So what can fans expect afterwards?

It appears that come 2018 we could have a line-up of films that include Gotham City Sirens, The Batman, and Aquaman. The last two confirmed for a 2018 release from multiple people working close to the projects with the first fi…

Zack Snyder Teases Of Working On 'Justice League'

Zack Snyder, director of DC Films' Justice League, is quite active on the new social media app of Vero, which is a culmination of many of the already existing social sites out there at least in my experience with it. But recently he teased about the superhero team film on the app, with a photo captioned with "Working in the dark."

The photo - see below - in question is a mystery is it from the film or for a trailer soon to be released. Personally I have no idea but I wouldn't be surprised if it was from the film and Snyder was simply working on the editing of the film, but who knows he might be teasing us of an upcoming trailer.

Now from my eyes it appears to be from a scene where they filmed in Djúpavík, Iceland based on the surroundings in the background and the costume Momoa is wearing - similar to that of the one we see him wearing in the Comic-Con footage, which took place in a more colder environment. Furthermore the person who he is talking to is more than li…

Jason Momoa's 'Canvas Of My Life' Documentary Released; Includes 'Justice League' Moments

Jason Momoa recently made a miniature documentary in conjunction with Carhartt, the clothing company. The documentary, narrated by Momoa himself, shows us glimpses of moments in the Justice League actor's life, mainly focusing on his family or as he would put it Ohana - Hawaiian for family. It also features a few select instances of the filming of Zack Snyder's Justice League mainly from the film's Icelandic shoot.

One can watch the documentary down below.

Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Ben Affleck's 'The Batman' Coming In 2018

In an exit interview with Deadline, Greg Silverman, now ex-President of Creative Development and Worldwide Production at Warner Bros, talked about what is to come in regards to Warner Brothers, and one thing he confirmed is that Ben Affleck's The Batman will be released in 2018.

Here are his comments:
“Next year, Batman Lego looks like a monster, and King Kong looks like a global hit and we have Chris Nolan’s Dunkirk, and King Arthur, and Wonder Woman, which is such a joy for the studio and fans. Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a big film, and there are others like CHiPS, which feels like a real franchise for the studio. And Toby Emmerich’s films are also really humming.

“Then in 2018, there is a second Fantastic Beasts film, and Ready Player One feels like an ambitious movie by the world’s best filmmaker, Steven Spielberg, that will set the world on fire. There is Aquaman with James Wan, and Scooby Doo will be a huge launch and then there is Lego Ninjago. And then there is Ben Aff…

Jeremy Irons Confirms 'The Batman' Shoot Date; Teases A Hands-On Alfred For 'Justice League'

Jeremy Irons, Alfred Pennyworth of the DC Extended Universe, will show up in Zack Snyder's Justice League and in Ben Affleck's The Batman and has now talked a little about the two films mainly about Justice League and how Alfred reacts to other superheroes but has also confirmed a bit of news regarding TheBatman solo film.

On how Alfred is going to deal with not only a world filled with Batman and Superman but also Metahumans, Atlanteans, Amazonians, and so on Irons said, "I think he's waiting with baited breath to see what is going to happen. He's in the employ of Bruce Wayne and he doesn't always agree with him but I think he'll help where he can. And I'm not sure in Justice League we'll see that much of him because we have five superheroes to deal with and Alfred is just the batman [a term for the soldier-servant of a commissioned officer in the British military] of one of them. It'll be very interesting to see where he gets to, when we get…
