'Blade Runner 2049' Announcement Teaser Released

Denis Villeneuve welcomes us back to the world of Blade Runner, in next year's Blade Runner 2049, which will see the return of Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard. Warner Bros. have released the first preview of footage from the film and it sure does look like it will be a good one. The announcement trailer also gives us a first look at Ryan Gosling's Officer K, who is the new kid on the block and is looking for Deckard in this film.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 stars Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, and Sylvia Hoeks, and will arrive in theatres on Oct. 6, 2017. The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve with Ridley Scott as executive producer.
