All of this made a sequel that more real and well it has been made and is being released this year.

New Details And Our First Look For The Alicia Vikander-Starrer 'Tomb Raider'

Thanks to two separate interviews from Vanity Fair and GQ Magazine, we have our first look at the newest live-action iteration of the classic video-game Tomb Raider. This take on the female character however will not continue the Angelina Jolie-starrer films from the early 2000's but will reimagine the character with the Oscar winning actress Alicia Vikander.

“When I was asked to take on this role I got really excited—Lara Croft is a truly iconic character,“ Vikander told Vanity Fair. “I think people can identify with her for lots of different reasons, but for me I very much see her as a model for many young women. She’s trying to carve out her place in the world and connect her future with her past. She also has a fantastic mix of traits—tough, smart, vulnerable, plus she’s kick ass! She is also uniquely different to other characters I have taken on previously. It's a lot of fun trying to get into Lara’s head and the challenge of getting to grips with such a physical role is …

New Details On 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Villain, Vulture Plus First Look Stills

This summer will see the first Spider-Man film set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and to crack open the hero's Rogues Gallery the studio and filmmakers chose Vulture as the main antagonist, played by none other than Michael Keaton. While we have seen villains in the form of gods in Loki, billionaire lunatics in Aldrich Killian, and in many other forms, Vulture will be something different; just your average man.

“My whole approach for this movie is that we’ve seen the penthouse level of the (Marvel) universe,” said the film's director Jon Watts. “We’ve seen what it’s like to be a billionaire inventor and to be a Norse god. We’ve seen the very top of this world. But we’ve never seen what it’s like to be just a regular joe.”

Adrian Toomes, is a Spider-Man villain from 1963, so a modern reimagining for Spider-Man: Homecoming is a given. Toomes is described by being a blue-collar man who runs a New York salvaging company that cleans up the messes the likes of The Avengers make, …

It feels so valuable. We need to break through that glass ceiling — women go to the theatre to see a movie with a male lead, and men will go see a film with a female lead. We’re all equals here.”

Captain Marvel is written by Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman, a director has not been attached although a January 2018 shoot date is in the books so we should be getting an announcement soon of who is helming the project.

Zack Snyder Talks Bringing New Characters In 'Justice League'; Teases Superman's Role

Come November Warner Bros. will introduce comic-book characters to not only the cinematic world but also to the audience thanks to the Zack Snyder-directed Justice League.

“It’s kinda fun to really let (the actors) stretch their legs and inhabit those characters,” Snyder added. “It is a process to make a team out of this group of individuals, but for the greater good maybe they can put their differences aside.”

We were already introduced to the likes of Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, and of course Henry Cavill's Superman, the former two being brought into the fold in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
