Marvel Television Rounds Out Its Cast For 'Marvel's The Inhumans'

Marvel Television has rounded out their cast for The Inhumans with Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Mike Moh, Sonya Balmores, Ellen Woglom, and a 2000lb dog!

Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon – Cousin of Black Bolt (Anson Mount), member of the Royal family, and leader of Attilan’s military. With super strong legs, complete with hooves, he can generate destructive seismic waves with a single stomp. The yin to his cousin Karnak’s (Ken Leung) yang, Gorgon would rather fight than talk to solve his problems.

Isabelle Cornish as Crystal – Medusa’s (Serinda Swan) sister, Crystal is the youngest member of the royal family and has the ability to control the elements. Impetuous and independent she is also deeply devoted to her family.

Mike Moh as Triton – Black Bolt’s cousin, he’s calm under pressure and supremely athletic. His gift is his fish-like ability to live underwater.

Sonya Balmores as Auran – Head of the Royal Guards on Attilan, a capable and no-nonsense woman. She is fiercely loyal to the King of Attilan.

Ellen Woglom as Undisclosed Character – smart, intense, and focused—so focused that oftentimes, social skills take a back seat. Her job at a private aerospace company is her life, second only to her passion for all things space and lunar. She’s primed to be swept up in an adventure.

Lockjaw as himself – Crystal’s 2,000 lb canine companion; he is a two-thousand-pound dog (yes, a dog!) with the ability to teleport.

“We’re thrilled with this cast. Eme, Isabelle, Mike, Sonya, and Ellen round out an incredible array of talent that will finally bring the Royal Family of the Inhumans to IMAX and ABC,” said Executive Producer Jeph Loeb.

“With Eme, Isabelle, Mike, Sonya, and Ellen portraying the rest of our leading roles, we have a strong cast that is going to add tremendous depth to our Royal Family,” added Executive producer and showrunner, Scott Buck.

Marvel Television also added Ken Leung as the key role of Karnak. Karnak is Black Bolt’s cousin and closest advisor. His gift is an ability to see the fault in all things – people, plans, structures, everything. He’s Black Bolt’s most ardent supporter and strategist and is often seen as the royal family’s planner and philosopher.

“Ken brings both a wisdom and a power to the role that no one else could match.  His Karnak will be awesome,” said Executive Producer, Jeph Loeb.

Executive Producer Scott Buck added: “Ken Leung has a great natural intelligence that reads clearly and will add depth and complexity to the very complicated character of Karnak.”

Recently Loeb and company also cast Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Anson Mount as Black Bolt, and Serinda Swan as Medusa. Filming has commenced on Friday in Hawaii.

Marvel's The Inhumans will have its first two episodes, which will be directed by Roel Reine, shot with IMAX cameras and will premiere at IMAX cinemas across the world before airing on ABC, who are working with IMAX to make the series, during their autumn season. The series will see Scott Buck as executive producer and showrunner, with Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory as also executive producers.

Marvel’s The Inhumans, follows a race of superhumans with diverse and unique powers and explores the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the Royal Family, who were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe.
