The Bumblebee spinoff is being written by Christina Hodson. Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg are producing with Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis.

Transformers: The Last Knight will open in theaters on June 23, 2017 with a Bumblebee  spin-off to come out June 8, 2018 and a sixth instalment of the franchise to be released June 28, 2019.
