Amber Heard Is Kicking Ass For 'Aquaman' Training

Justice League/Screencap
After Justice League comes out, it looks like we will have only one DC film in 2018 - which can be a good thing - that film of course will be Aquaman. The James Wan-directed feature will be the first big-screen adaption of the DC Comics character, who is played by Jason Momoa, and where you find Aquaman you will find Mera, his cohort and Queen of Atlantis.

Mera will be played by Amber Heard, who we first saw a snippet of in the recent Justice League trailer in her Mera get up. For the role, Heard is training, and by the crew over at the 87 Eleven Action Design Studio. The actress took to her own Instagram account that she is still prepping for her role. She is expected to begin filming in May at Australia's Village Roadshow Studios, Gold Coast.

It is expected to release December 21, 2018.
