Final 'King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword' Trailer Released

Warner Bros. have released the final trailer for Guy Ritchie's King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. The film, which is a retelling of the British folkloric tale, stars Charlie Hunnam as Arthur and Jude Law as the antagonist, Vortigren, and is more of a mythic iteration of the tale - well at least the trailers make it out to be a more fantastical version.

Check out the trailer down below.

When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern, Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown.  Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city.  But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.

Starring with Charlie Hunnam and Oscar nominee Jude Law are Astrid Bergès-Frisbey as Mage; Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsouas Bedivere; Aidan Gillenas Goosefat Bill; and Eric Bana as Arthur’s father, King Uther Pendragon.

Guy Ritchie directed the film from a screenplay is by Joby Harold and Guy Ritchie & Lionel Wigram, story by David Dobkin and Joby Harold.  The film is produced by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman, Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, and producers Steve Clark-Hall, Guy Ritchie and Lionel Wigram.  David Dobkin and Bruce Berman are executive producers.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is slated for release May 12, 2017.
