Jessica Jones & Co. Reveal 'Marvel's The Defenders' Binge Date

This year alone will see Marvel Television and Netflix bring three shows to our digital fingertips, back in March they released Marvel's Iron Fist, and it seems the next one we can binge will be The Defenders.

The marketing crew have put together a viral clip to announce the date of when the binge of the series can commence. Sharing via their YouTube channel, Netflix uploaded a video with the title "Midland Circle Security Elevator B," which shows the main four heroes, those being Luke Cage, Danny Rand, Jessica Jones, and of course Matt Murdoch, enter an elevator looking a bit beaten down and tired, possibly from a corridor fight. The clip continues to show them until Jones has the bright idea of killing the camera feed, which makes the date of August 18, 2017 show up in the right hand corner.

Check out the clip down below:

In the video you will also find an IP address, which leads to the New York Bulletin website. This site has a few clips and images from different shows, all creating the sense of connectivity among the Netflix shows.

Marvel's The Defenders stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdoch aka Daredevil, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, and Finn Jones as Danny Rand aka Iron Fist with Sigourney Weaver as the main antagonist for the Defenders. Jeph Loeb, head of Marvel Televison, executive produces with Douglas Petrie (Marvel’s Daredevil, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Marco Ramirez (Marvel’s Daredevil, Orange Is the New Black) serving as showrunners.
