'Blade Runner 2049' Trailer Sees What Gosling & Ford Do In The Future

Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures have released the first official trailer to their hotly anticipated October film, Blade Runner 2049. The film sees Harrison Ford reprising his Blade Runner - the original film from 1982 - role, Rick Deckard with newcomers to the franchise like Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto and Ana de Armas joining him. It is directed by Arrival's Denis Villeneuve with a script penned by Blade Runner scribe Hampton Fancher and American Gods co-creator/Logan co-writer Michael Green.

Ridley Scott, who directed the original '82 film, will serves as producer with both Roger Deakins and Jóhann Jóhannsson re-teaming up with Villeneuve as cinematographer and composer respectively.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, with Dave Bautista and Jared Leto. It is directed by Denis Villeneuve, produced by Andrew A. Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Bud Yorkin, Cynthia Yorkin with executive producing done by Ridley Scott, Tim Gamble, Frank Giustra, Yale Badick, Val Hill, Bill Carraro.

Blade Runner 2049 releases October 6, 2017.
