'Breathe' Trailer Gives A First Look At Andy Serkis' Directorial Debut

Bleeker Street and STX Entertainment have released the first trailer for Andy Serkis' directorial debut, Breathe. Starring Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy as the main protagonists, the film is a biopic of the life of Robin Cavendish. Through hardships Cavendish and his wife Diana fight for love and live life to the fullest.

Check out the trailer down below.

Adventurous and charismatic, Robin Cavendish (Andrew Garfield - Hacksaw Ridge, Silence) has his whole life ahead of him when he is paralysed by polio whilst in Africa. Against all advice, Robin’s wife Diana (Claire Foy - Golden Globe Winner, The Crown, Wolf Hall) brings him home from hospital where her devotion and witty determination transcends his disability. Together they refuse to be imprisoned by his suffering; dazzling others with their humour, courage and lust for life. BREATHE is a heart-warming and highly emotional celebration of bravery and human possibility, a love story about living every breath as though it’s your last.

Directed by Andy Serkis - who makes his directorial debut with this - Breathe stars Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy, Tom Hollander, Hugh Bonneville, and many more. William Nicholson penned the script.

Breathe comes out October 13 in the US and October 27 in Ireland and UK.
