James Franco Becomes Tommy Wiseau In 'The Disaster Artist' Teaser Trailer

If you are on the internet for sometime now, you may have heard/come across the rather peculiar film that is Tommy Wiseau's The Room. Generating a cult following like no other, the film became something more and has created a bit of a legacy for itself.

Now, several years after the film was released, a mockumentary-esque film has been made about the making of The Room, that stars James Franco as Wiseau.

Check out the teaser trailer for The Disaster Artist down below.

Based on Greg Sestero’s best-selling tell-all about the making of Tommy's cult-classic disasterpiece The Room (“The Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made”), The Disaster Artist is a hilarious and welcome reminder that there is more than one way to become a legend— and no limit to what you can achieve when you have absolutely no idea what you're doing.

The Disaster Artist is directed by James Franco and stars Franco, his brother Dave Franco, and long-time friend Seth Rogen. It is slated for a December 1, 2017 US release with an Irish/British date to be announced.
