Quentin Tarantino's Next Film To Examine Manson Family Murders

While he has said that he is done making films in the past numerous times, it looks like Quentin Tarantino is coming back for a very specific film.

It is being reported that Tarantino's next film will examine the infamous Manson Family murders that sent shockwaves not just in Hollywood but around the world also. This will be a first for the seasoned helmer, as his other films have been set in fictitious and have not been based on real life events.

Sources have said that Harvey and Bob Weinstein, who have been producing bodies for Tarantino's filmography, will be involved in the film - which will be written by Tarantino himself. The film is in early phases of being shopped by distributors and financiers to give the project life.

Tarantino has been putting the finishing touches on the script and hopes for a possible summer-2018 shoot date.

Stars that have been approached to star in the film includes Brad Pitt as an investigative detective, Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie as possibly Sharon Tate, and Samuel L. Jackson.

The film will narratively comprise of the events that Charles Manson and the Manson Family - a cult of followers who pledged to do whatever was asked of them by Manson himself - made happen. One such event was the barbaric murder of Sharon Tate, a renowned actress who was married to director Roman Polanski, in 1969.
