See Will Smith & Orcs Battling It Out In New 'Bright' Trailer

Ever wanted to know what it would be like to see Will Smith reprise, somewhat, his Bad Boys' character and have him face off orcs and other magical beings? Well David Ayer's Bright is the answer.

During their San Diego Comic Con panel Thursday, Netflix showcased a new trailer for their upcoming original film, that has Smith play an police officer, in a world where magical beings like orcs exist, who is partnered up with an orc cop to tackle the everyday crime but both get entangled in a matter far greater than some petty robbery or something like that.

Set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves, and fairies have been co-existing since the beginning of time. Bright is genre-bending action movie that follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward and Jakoby, embark on a routine patrol night and encounter a darkness that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.

Directed by David Ayer from a script by Max Landis, Bright stars Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Lucy Fry, Edgar Ramirez, Margaret Cho, and Ike Barinholtz. It is being produced by David Ayer, Eric Newman, and Bryan Unkeless, and will exclusively be on Netflix this December.
